23. I grew up during the most violent time in LA county and there were certain rules for both civilians and members. The biggest rule was that as a civilian you didn’t involve yourself anywhere near gang culture. Because if they found out they would turn your tv off fast. Unfortunately that is why a lot of unalivings during those years weren’t solved. The gangs had too much power and because anyone could be bought there was no survival if you messed up. That is why I am so surprised too see all of these content creators making videos talking about street culture. Especially YT folks because that wouldn’t have been allowed to continue back then. I stayed alive by minding my business and leaving the streets where they are and not my business. Unfortunately during those years I lost a lot of friends and family but everything has life choices that they will make and there wasn’t anything that I could do to change them. I hope that yall be careful talking about this type of stuff and the truly dangerous don’t tag you because of something that they don’t want yall talking about.
