And the space data centre? Consisting of 1 million satellites? Are they serious?
1) What is the expected life span of a data centre (on the ground) – 3 years? What then? Do it all over again?
2) Already now is our orbit full of junk and old objects, that are close to impossible to deal with. And 'we' want to add another 1M just for one project?
3) What will be it's lifespan expectancy? With all that difficulties outlined by you, it will hardly be longer than the one down on Earth.

IMO it's one of the biggest scams of all history – exactly for the reasons you've documented. Alarmingly bad numbers, crazy valuation, betting on getting 85% of revenue from a sector they have only 0.4% share of, disguising as "space company" while being predominantly something completely different, rushing to getting public and changing the adopting rules for that… That's an entire forrest of RED FLAGS!!!
This seems to be mainly run on 'normal people's' money via passive investments and all the hype and shilling (Elon's master disciplines). Pump and dump…

You all know when someone says something is a "Con" they mean it's a "Confidence" scam. Every investment into anything is relative to your or your ,money manager's "confidence" in the product, company or service. It is all a gamble, and gambling is always risky and potentially fixed. This whole thing is nothing new unfortunately.
First of all what even is the market, addressable or otherwise, what does it look like for this, even hypothetically / imaginatively speaking?
what are we looking at? and looking for? here's all the sci-fi stuffs that I've gathered :
1. Space cargo? like FedEx in space.
2. Starlink 2, soon to be in 5G equivalent quality or what have you, internet speed boosted by AI or something maybe.
3. Basically everything AI and data center related, Grok in space?
and then a leasing space, literally in space? like Amazon warehouse or Microsoft Azure in space?
or maybe Starlink but instead of just internet access, you can have all AI (not just Grok but Claude and ChatGPT and everything else) where the results are beamed to you back to earth?
4. Solar panels in space? so electric company in space? I don't know, nuclear power in space.
5. But then what is Terrafab? (Terrafab in space = Astrofab? or maybe Luna, Sola, Martifab?) basically Nvidia/ TSMC / Intel in space?
6. Tesla in space = commercial rocket / space shuttle travel? earth to moon and back eventually? robots, robotaxis and automation factories on the Moon / Mars? Mars terraforming project in 100 years or more / less?
7. Massive confidential government project? millions of AI satellite probes for something? military use? asteroid mining?
8. Probably quantum computer in space.
9. Bitcoin in space?

SpaceX needs all that extra crap cut out of it. It should be rockets and rocket launches and Starlink. That's it. This extra AI crap that's shoved in is going to tank the hell out of SpaceX.

All the Elon haters are NPCs who cheered for his many other scam initiatives. If this happened before the co-ordinated fake news atracks on him, you would be creaming your panties over the imaginary space data centers.

I like the video. I am SpaceX stock holder. I think the future will be exciting. Like Elon says "Success is not guaranteed, but excitement is." Grok is still considered one of the five frontier models. Colossus is the first AI super computer, so they have first to market advantage. You didn't bring up that they are purchasing Cursor and may still merge with Tesla which will bring three more supercomputers into the fold. That may be for another video.
This video claims that no water vapor or air will make heat radiation from orbital data centers very inefficient. But I think if the earth had no atmosphere heat would radiate into space very quickly. Planets and moons without atmospheres get very hot on the side facing the sun and extremely cold on the side facing away. The atmosphere of earth acts as an insulator and heat sink in its own right.
However – speculating on the future productivity of space colonies and asteroid mining is the same sort of hyper optimistic BS that fueled the Laws Speculation (aka The Mississippi Bubble) of the early 18th century.
Musk will sell his SpaceX stock very soon. This was just a "pump-and-dump scheme" and/or "rug-pull."
This was just another one of Musk's scams. If he didn't do this, he would be BROKE! But, NOW…he has all that money he's GOING to steal from all those
suckersinvestors…and, those investors will actually continue to defend Musk, even after he stole all their money. Just remember, no one is too big to fail. If China can deflate the property bubble, the US should deflate the AI bubble.
A YouTuber really put out the entire chain. Elon's investors circle invested in Twitter, which turned into X, but X collapsed. Then, xAI acquired X, but the billionaire still did not find the exit. Now, SpaceX is acquiring the xAI and going public to give an exit to all the initial investors.
I guess the same will happen for all the other AI companies. The virtually elevated stocks will be forcefully shoved down the throat of the general public before the collapse happens or a government is forced to bailout.
On the Mars front – if Earth is "uninhabitable" so we move to Mars – Mars in uninhabitable too!. Why not build "colonies" on Earth? There's so much SPACE between the ears.
