I love how people says DGD lyrics has no meaning, but to me it's always meaningfully deep. Just like this, this whole song is basically midnight contemplation when people are having a hard time to sleep. The line "And as the feelings pass, you're looking for the rat. Some fans need to understand that you are allowed to not like an album. I don't like how Andrew, a solid vocalist, feels the need to double layer himself on the majority of every song. It comes off as cheap, generic, and doesn't allow the uniqueness of his voice or the songs to shine. While the album may be good, at its worst it's forgettable.
