Paul won.
Nick makes a good point that Paul is sometimes using a definition of causal that makes it impossible to say that anything causes anything.
Guy on the left (nick) is annoying as fuck haha
I'm glad comments haven't been making Harvbeard Shapiro jokes.
I'd rather hear a super smart-guy podcast about the differences in run-of-the-mill store bought meats. Beef/chicken/pork. Then, store bought vs butcher bought. then, that vs "I raised my own cow or hog or chicken and know exactly what I fed it and butchered it myself.' are you ever better off not eating store bought meat?
Maybe I lump in seed oils and ultra processed foods together….but when I think seed oils, I think 'potato chips.' I can eat them endlessly, and not only not get full, but be increasing my hunger. the more 'shit' I eat, the more I want, endlessly. But (and I don't do this, I've done it) if I take a shot of olive oil at the end of the night, after any average meal….I'm not hungry basically until the next evening. UNLESS I decide to eat some chips or crackers….
fuck i really don't want to watch this at 2x for the next nearly 2 hours….but I will. I'm currently very anti-seed oils, and very anti trans fat, and if not pro-saturated fat, I don't think it's something to bat an eye at. I welcome it with open arms. Lets see what happens….
Holy ramus 🙏
Probably the best video/podcast to end the year, congrats on getting these guys together to chat!
Seed oils are highly inflammatory. I can always tell because I have chronic illness which causes tons of inflammation already. So all I need to do is eat 1 thing and my body tells me hell no. That happens with seed oils even more so than sugar, gluten and dairy.
we are evolved beings, and nature is what has dictated that evolution, nature is also our pantry. seed oils are not natural. it doesnt fit into our evoltional journey. a harvard doctor can try sell me this crap, im not buying it.
if seed oils are good for us.. that would put it in a unique category of man-made foodstuff that is "healthy". a miracle of sorts. a food miracle. a since its invention, 1910s, you would expect human health to have improved? right?
but the exact opposite is true.
How the fuck did i miss this podcast
Avoiding seed oils, sugar and excess carbs has changed my life.
Seed oils are absolutely not good. They are highly inflammatory
I was intermittent fasting for three weeks with a Mediterranean diet. Once I ate a bag of chips, I started feeling like shit and I got the jitters proved to that garbage food is really garbage.
I don't trust any health specialist who fit in a a kid size shirt.
his isnt true. research where seed oils came from for use in food system. its product waste and they needed someplace for it to go so they fed us with it. its poison.
Verbal diareahx2
My health has continuously been on the increase since I stopped eating seed oils 2 years ago.
They may technically be acceptable to the body but they will never come in a form factor that meets the quality requirements for a healthy diet, the compounds that come along with these oils are extremely toxic.
I'd share this video if the title wasn't misleading.
The main difference between seed oils is the extraction method. All cold-pressed seed oils are fine, unlike processed ones, such as hemp seed oil, which has a perfect omega-3-omega-6 ratio.
Warfare, Medicine, Religion. The unholy trinity.

Cool episode Danny, loved every second man.
I eat natural foods most of the time. I’m 58 and I feel great!! I’m on zero prescriptions.
If I eat ANY processed foods containing seed oils at all, I immediately gain weight and have pain in my foot and wrist!! It’s crazy!!!! I don’t do it often, for good reason!!!
Atkins: "If you consume fat your body will burn fat." Consensus: "Noooooo…" 😂
More proof of the incompetence and corruption of Ivy League universities. I refuse to hire Harvard grads already for this reason.
Your voice is so "farty" annoying
