35 thoughts on “Cop Gets SUED After Arresting Man For Drinking In His Own Apartment!

  1. Couldn't him keeping a key to a building and using it to get in even after he isn't a resident and not invited in, be trespassing or the equivalent of breaking into a home with no damage?

  2. Porches and balconies are part of the curtilage of a resident!!! Tell me it's not and then tell me why they arrest you for having illegal shit on your porch or balcony…. I'm waiting.

  3. I got a stage 1 dot inspection by a state trooper after I just got done with a 12 hour shift. The whole time him and his buddy were talking about how they weren’t able to put anyone out of service for a few days. Complaining about it. I haul hazmat. There’s a million rules and I follow them pretty closely. He was nice to me and acting like a friend but I could tell he was getting frustrated I had no violations. After the inspection, he ends up asking for my hazmat book (legally has to be in arms reach). I reach under my bed passenger seat to grab it and immediately he told me that it wasn’t close enough to me. Gave me a violation for it. It was very scummy. You got guys scrolling tic tok killing people with there trucks but hey, make sure you fuck the guy that try’s to stay safe. I’ve lost a lot of respect for law enforcement over the years. I’ve learned that there’s a lot of bad cops. Few good ones

  4. We still dont know that he shouted from the balcony the guy on the balcony was in dark clothes not a brightblue shirt. The balcony did not have any sort of light on and was quite dark and the guy had a dark hat on making it very hard to see his face as he was in a dark area and the hat provided a very dark shadow concealing his face. Mr. Redding had a bright hat on in the apartment not a dark colored hat. Balcony guy had on pants and mr. redding had on shorts.

  5. Wow he lives in a different apartment, different clothes and these guys are trying to say we will get cameras for you yelling this guy better win a lawsuit. This is defintelly retaliation we cant prove your the guy yelling so we are gonna make something up just to make you go to jail tonight.

  6. I'm pretty sure if I no longer stayed at an apartment but I kept the key and then used it to come back onto the apartment later that would be an easy trespassing. It's still wild to me that cops get away with breaking the law so easily.

  7. Here I would fill out a handwritten note slide it under the door that says not going to open the door go get a warrant. When you have a warrant in hand, please slide it under the door so I can see it and I will unlock it and let you in.

  8. You can knock all you want you got no warrant can that apartment go get a warrant and come back hopefully in the meantime, somebody will tell your dumbass. Don’t yell back at them pay attention to yo shit leave people alone and stop harassing people or maybe they just help your dumbass out and give you a warrant then you don’t have to notstay in the hallway, looking like a fool
