  1. I am happy that Andrew follows his bliss to write books. Wayne Dyer always said in his books/ shows, that for humans it is very important to “ not die with the music still in his heart”

  2. I've done DMT hundreds of times, it blew my mind every time. I had a few experiences that were very wonderful and amazing, but also had a few experiences that were horrific and terrible, overall it was a big distraction from reality and I gained nothing from all the time and money I wasted getting high. Not worth it in my book. Do not recommend.

  3. AI Overview
Yes, children in some South American Indigenous traditions are given ayahuasca, though practices vary significantly among communities and religious groups
. The decision to give ayahuasca to minors is often based on spiritual beliefs and ancestral practices, and the dosage is typically adjusted for age.
    Indigenous traditions
Many Indigenous peoples in the Amazon basin view ayahuasca (or yagé, as it is known in Colombia) as a sacred plant teacher, and its

  4. AI Overview
Yes, computers are able to generate pictures from brain activity
, a field of research rapidly advancing through the use of artificial intelligence (AI). Using brain scanning technology, AI can decode and reconstruct visual images from the brain, including those a person is actively seeing or even just imagining.

  5. In his book, The Science of Enlightenment, the sober monk Shinzen Young describes seeing giant spectral insects superimposed over normal reality for weeks and when he ignored them they disappeared. Interesting.

  6. Emergence is the new quantum woo. It doesn’t explain anything, it’s not computable, nobody can predict when it happens, etc. etc.

One thing we know from psychedelics that tends to contradict this notion that energy flows in the brain with such intensity that this inordinate worlds appear is that psychedelics doesn’t increase brain activity, and it actually reduces it in the default modal network. Plus, purely from a thermodynamics point of view, how is it that taking a few milligrams of a rather simple molecule suddenly create a burst of energy capable of this high strangeness? It just doesn’t make any sense.

We need to perhaps revisit the metaphysics underlying all these assumptions. The DMT experience it just simply doesn’t make sense under the assumption the consciousness is something that emerges from brain activity or is a secretion of the brain. It just doesn’t hold
