2. From my reading Diablo Jotas had a unique ram air scoop that fed into the engine. The black Diablo that he references to doesn't have that. Supposedly the Jota package wasn't officially "available " in the USA but if you asked the right people you could get one.

5. 😂 there is a purple one where I live on the Isle if man that's been here 20 years or so. I've been in the car and know who sold it 15 years ago. I'm not sure why this guy talks about the colour like it's the only one. It is not the only one.

21. 3:15 Lol, this is why I was destroying Lambos back then. 750hp is huge power? LOL. I had a 700hp Chevy V8 that I put a SC on and got consistent 1300 hp… in 1998.

28. The way this guy talks about these cars like they are “just” an enthusiast’s car like a 944. I know he thinks they are special but when you have money like this you talk oddly about them.

29. It's always interesting to hear speech patterns of non-native speakers.
    To be clear, I'm not saying his English is bad or wrong, I'm genuinely intrigued by things like what crutch words they use, or phrasing that is technically correct, but has a slightly different connotation.

38. Honest question, do people still use the vinwiki app? I started posting around 2019 and there was a very active community on the app, now it seems mostly Toyotas for sale in michigan with the occasional interesting car

    The app itself felt clunky and outdated in 2019, now its almost unusable. Plus the main utility of the app itself (converting plate to vin) is just easier to do with a different app or website.

    Its apparent to me that the point of vinwiki was never actually to “document” cars in a way that carfax does. I know ed really pitched it as that, but i still truly believe this was all just a long play to manipulate the prices of certain cars. Now that the market is slowing down, its no longer serving a purpose
