If you watch my videos, you’ll know I always leave a bottom vent wide open to allow air in. Then this happened…… and it spread to all of my tents so since then I been using these old carbon filters. Now, since theyre old, they don’t really suck in air as well and I always wished that they made something specifically for this instead. Ask and you shall receive. Ac infinity just released this grow tent vent and it just so happened to be perfect timing on a new tent I was setting up. So me an homegirl split a two pack and we installed them and I gotta say, it was super easy to install. Just roll up a sleeve towards the inside of the tent, unscrew the cap and place the side with a slot over the slack, then screw on the other side and that’s it. Its basically the same airflow as leaving the tent open. This is what it looks like with lights off, so no more worries about pests getting in and these are completely reusable. It looks clean and it serves a purpose that I think exists if you care about aesthetics. You could use code EVYGROWS on AC Infinity’s site or on Amazon to save 10% off of any product.

I used a 8 inch styrofoam disc and just cut a hole in it and crazy glued mesh over it total cost $6😏
3d printed my own a few years ago. I use nylon stockings over then to keep out bugs
Etsy also has the light blocking vent filters for the flaps that open and close

If anyone has a 3d printer there is a file on thingiverse for a light blocking vent. Works great on mine.

Secret Jardin has had this for a few years and has a great mounting system for it. Called light baffle. Have it on my tent, love it especially with their ducting flange.

I cut the bottom of the plastic fountain drink cup, buy 2500 micron 4pk HVAC filters from Costco and cut out circle patches to match the cup ends and hot glue them on. Double filtration, enough filter material to make dozens, use colored tape to cover cup body to reduce transparency. keeps tent super clean. After every grow make new ones. Old ones show how much dust was prevented from getting pulled into the tent. Super easy to make and replicate.
I imagine you could wedge the filter between these two halves also. Hmm I think I'll try it.

For my grow rooms I ended up cutting slots to stick the n hvac vents that have a filter in between them

u leave the vents wide open & that cause light leaks lmao how does light not pass right through these looks like big opening just like if u had the vents open? i dont get it
