Somehow remain relevant.. ahh that's right.. hip hop isn't about talent, skill or originality anymore . Its easy marketable songs that get noticed, make revenue and the process continues..there's dope white rappers, but when you get ass bags like drake, hardly underground artists get recognized, while drake is common..basic flows, kiddie rhyme schemes, and targets anyone who finds working 8 hrs difficult.
