We The Growers sits with Mike and Bones from @wow.town and @bones_grows from ZBRA. In this episode, we discuss what it was like for both to come up in the industry. Fighting through raids, theft, and everything else that came with cultivation in the traditional market. We also discuss how the two met, how they both run profitable businesses, and both their stories.

  1. We go from mock run example to grandmas recipe by week 2, touch week 3, go on vacation before week 4 then somehow end up at 5 when we go on vacation again and bring up the exact scenario hes creating, talking about the internet getting people confused 🙃😂 infromation is high in EC, but low VPD 😭 im locked out for the second time. Plz dial in the environment for the plants students 🙏 i could listen to yall talk for days on end, just stop getting me lost in the weeds 10 times in 20 minutes. Even if you clarify later on, i wouldnt know bc ive left/ lost faith in the ability to be taught in this environment

  2. You can try watering with cold water, colder temps or reducing your co2 towards the last weeks of flower. You can also try walking back your flowering time the last 2-4 weeks. Either cut the time down by a half hour per week for 4 weeks or you can try cutting it back by a hour the last 2 weeks. These are all methods people have used to get more color and frost.

  3. In oregon they majority of the market is purple, or super frosty or preferably a combination of both.

But I think genetics have been becoming similar and less old school dank. Because most genetics are reversed females onto females. So xx chromosomes with no y chromosomes. So most genetics are being stripped of the y chromosome and all it's expressions. Basically everyone is smoking tranny weed. This is why when you pop from regular seeds you can find more diversity and more expressions. I could be wrong. But something to think about and start talking about the missing y chromosomes in genetics.

  4. Just bought Fade yesterday, i want to try it and enter the Athena nutes slowly. Should i buy CalMag and PK if i buy Pro Kit? Should i buy other bottles like balance?

  5. We manage our irrigation by tracking drybacks and shot volumes throughout the entire cycle. Everything is adjusted accordingly from pH and light intensity to feed EC and substrate EC. One thing we’ve noticed is that with blended nutrient lines, you typically need to run a higher feed EC (3.0-3.5) to stack properly and maintain that 6–10 EC range in the substrate day 21 .
