We bought a $500 Ford Ranger with plans to make a desert runner, but first we have to test it out as-is.

  1. Just bought my 94 after watching this series, going to give it a re-watch now that I have my truck. Please keep doing this and high low, they are great for people who need a little guidance when building a car

  2. Greatest content I have ever seen on youtube… watching these guys bounce through the air in a salvaged, beat to death ford ranger, while absolutely dying laughing, and it leads to a slow mo shot of the bed rack flying off…. truly amazing stuff

  3. I commented on another FORD Ranger salvage and restore video, that these old Rangers are everywhere and they are and have been revered in the real world, by regular owners as well as contractors, to be their go-to choice for cost and reliability.
How many Toyota Tacomas are still on the road as these Fords ?????

  4. Wait isn’t the 4.3 litre motor a Chevy engine? I know Ford put a 4.2 litre into mustangs and f150 of that era. But I don’t recall Ford ever making a 4.3

  5. 4.3L? It’s a Ranger, not an S10 lol. Tell me you’re not truck guys, without telling me you’re not truck guys. Maybe do just the smallest amount of research before deciding to dump an LS and tens of thousands of dollars into something lol.

  6. Seeing these boys just absolutely cackling while flopping around like a fishing a old ass beat up barely working stock Ranger is exactly what this channel is about, and especially every offroad/truck video they do

  7. I had a 1995 Ford Ranger back in 2010, and this is exactly how I drove it on dirt roads. It felt like it was constantly going to fall apart and that's what made it fun.

  8. I bought a brand new 92' Ranger in 93' with 65 miles on it when I was 12(with the help of my parents of course) and I still have it. spent almost 5 yrs making it a respectable truck with my dad and uncle, not to the degree that you guys are going to. and while it's not my daily driver by any stretch it's more than my almost 1000hp F150 sleeper and of course much less than my daily baby, 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody. My little Ranger does the majority of the grunt work, hauling dirt, rocks, manure, lumber etc. etc. and you'll usually find her out in the fields during hay season doing work and she looks good doing it too, short of a few scratches and dings she looks great too. She'll always have that special place in my heart and I'll never get rid of it.
So I'm really excited to watch this series of you guys maxing out an old Ranger.
