30 thoughts on “What it’s like to grow Granddaddy Purple | GDP | Ken Estes

  1. I have some Querkle from subcool. It’s a purple urkle by space queen. Probably an F5 by now. I’m currently turning all my best strains into feminized. Querkle will be early next year. 🌬️💨💨

  2. Did you defoliate her at all? I’m not sure weather to leave the leaves this time. I stripped lower but thinking leaving the leaves now what’s your experience with this any advise? Great vid thanks for uploading

  3. I had some seeds I got from my neighbor and I started 10 in the beginning and the biggest and healthiest ones were males and I ended up with 2 females and they are on their 8th month outside. I’m hoping they finish before the snow because it would suck for my first 2 plants to die and not get anything off of them. They are HUGE though. Lat time I measured they were 6 foot 2 inches tall

  4. Preciate you sharing this review !!! The dad menu from summer 2022 breeding project here in Virginia !! We pollinated a Green Crack Pheno from you all @homegrownseeds and i began working the f1’s this past spring (almost 2 years later)
We also have some f1 seeds from the these other female plants: Space Queen, Primal Punch 🥊

  5. I've grown GDP a few times. If you want the color and taste cooler temps are recommended.
But 8-10 weeks of flower? Better to plan on 12-16 weeks. It flowers slower when cool and if you want the great taste give it a long flower time.

  6. It’s supposed to have purple leaves, as well as the buds.. Don’t believe this is even close to the “Ken Estes Granddaddy Purp” Way different than the bootleg GDP versions out there many will be disappointed in.
