We pheno hunted for the highest THC most potent strain I ever produced, Sweet Flurry. My homie @thegrowunderthestairs blessed me with a clone of Frozen Bag and I crossed her with a Sugarcane Slurricane cross. Now, the idea of this was to further the frost level on an already proven frosty strain and knowing the potential of this cross, this grow competition was born. These are the actual results from people who grew her out…….. Most of them were first growers too.

I named this cross even before I grew her out and undeniably, the results warrant the name, Sweet Flurry. She tested at 27% on a T check and that’s this plant right here, which makes me wonder what the rest of the phenos would test at.

  1. Congratulations to all the winners. Discord link is in the about us section. Thanks to sponsors and tGUTS. @thegrowunderthestairs

UPDATE: If you can't get in, that means you are underage and we dont condone that. Search to verify with google.

  2. Hey inwas wondering if you could help me (us). I saw one of your shorts about how plucking leaves during late flower helps with having less nutrients and chlorophyll on buds in the end product… i had a huge sigh of relief when i came across this short because people in the growing community laughed at me when i explained this…

On a FB post on a growing group i posted:

“I never got the reason behind flushing apart from the fact that it saves you from using nutrients for the last 2 weeks. (Im not talking about soil flushing btw)

Throughout my YEARS of study and research. I found that the truest way to flush your plants is to pluck of ALL fan leaves (sugar leaves if possible too) a day or 2 before starting flush.

    Why?

Because when you have your fan leaves on and start flushing. The plant knows its now being deprived of nutrients from the soil, so it USES the stored nutrients from the fan leaves to feed the buds (last push for survival). Thats why you see colour fade on the fan leaves and not necessarily the buds. So the end product (buds) still end up having chlorophyll (what gives your plant the green colour) and nutrients. This method only really flushes your fan leaves of nutrients and chemicals, NOT your buds (to a certain extent), and your harvest will still have chlorophyll.

If you where to pluck off all you fan and sugar leaves and start flushing, what happens is the plant cannot push its stored nutrients as it doesnt have any. You plucked them off. So it uses the last bank of stored nutrients it has (in the buds itself) to try and survive. Thats when you see fade happening in the buds, indicating nutrient metabolism. Aka less chemicals and chlorophyll on your end products.

    Over and out.”

And i had SO many people bashing me saying its BRO science… they forget that them doing a regular flush is bro science too.

I was wondering if you could do a pluck method flush and non pluck method flush diary?
