A caller trying to get into the physical education industry is not sure if it’s worth getting bitten by his students.
Afterwards a caller tells me about her mother’s longtime wish for her to be gay, a caller shares how buying a gecko suit ended in romance, and I catch up with a friend from high school.

Thank you Lyle. I’m the first caller, it’s been a year but I’m happy.
New job new purpose. Bills still are a stresser but no where near it was.
This talk changed my life in a lot of ways and set a lot of good things in motion for me.
Not sure if you’ll ever see this, but thank you for this show and the opportunity to vent to you.
I wouldn't be able to spend more than 10 seconds with that last guy.
“You only have 1 life. Do what you can to make sure it’s the best one for you”
B A R S !!!🔥🧘🏽♂️🪬🌟👨🏽🚀♾️🗿
That dude does a lot more speed than he smokes weed vapes…
This answered many questions I had about the suit and it's durability.
🐸Sell heads, to pay for the feet! $90 a signed head! 🙌
I used to work with dementia patients and they often scratched and hit lol but you always have to have empathy.
Yo that paranoid schizophrenic at the end was a real one (I know he’s reading this right now)
As someone who has also been bit many times by human children (I’m an RBT), if it breaks skin get that shit checked out, even if it doesn’t seem that bad at first. I had a bite on my arm that ‘healed’ but later got infected and it was a PITA.
Edit: Also there is nothing wrong about wanting work in a setting with less high magnitude behaviors, it’s definitely not for everyone, I’m still an RBT but don’t get bit/scratched/punched/slapped nearly as often at my current clinic. One of the places I worked was school with mostly older kids and adults, it wasn’t a question of whether you’d eventually have to file a workman’s comp claim, but rather when since you were expected to get your shit fucked up.
Have stavros halkias on pls!!
That last guy was 100mph. Geez
I recently quit a job that is very similar to what this guy describes, I feel for him. It's so hard to leave a job like this because it's so personal, suddenly these people you have worked hard to build relationships with are no longer in your life, and you aren't in theirs. So many kids in these programs have terrible, chaotic homes and parents who neglect and abuse them. Knowing that I might be one of the few adults in their lives that they trust makes it really hard to step away from a job like this.
I think the second caller's mom is just riding high off of the social credit that she got from pushing her son into transitioning, and is craving more of it.
Lyle if you want some free gecko feet i was also you for halloween and did not wear them
i will send them free of charge
Duct tape the bottom of the feet
dang, that last dude should have saved his lines for AFTER the call 👃lol
DNA Lounge!!
Wrap your arms in newspaper
What the hell, that girl who's mother wants her to be a lesbian is f'ed up. Good on her for being self-aware enough to keep her own identity.
I relate to the first caller so much. I work with children with difficult behaviours, most of the behaviours are due to early childhood trauma. It's fucking terrible. They're just kids who don't understand their own emotions, one minute they'll be the sweetest kids you know and then all it takes is a random trigger to set them off. I've worked with some very violent kids and a couple of times I've had to stop working with them despite being one of the only people they like. It's so tough man. But you need to look after yourself first, there's plenty of kids out there who need your emotional attention and as much as we wish, the reality is you can't help every kid.
The mom who wishes her kid was gay is seemingly harmless, but it’s a dangerous path to wish your kid was attracted to another sex, and it sets everyone up for failure. It’s incredibly selfish and ignorant I think.
I used to be a coach in an after school program and I just didn’t want to be responsible for the kids anymore so I gave them ice cream one day and I never came back after that
what's up with lefty parents trying to push their kids to be gay/trans these days? seems like a mental illness to wish that upon your children.
I was a para in a special needs school and he’s so right, paras do so much work and are treated like garbage.
That first guy should quit his job and let someone who is actually passionate about working with people with disabilities and behavioral issues. People like him are the problem in health and social care.
I worked with the disabled i left because of the neglect and abuse
