21. Yeah we had a guy in the neighborhood, that put one of those cup motors in an El camino.

    You could hear that thing a mile away. He could race it to the street light… and Stop….. And then race it to the next street light….. And stop.

    But my neighbor and I were standing in the front yard, one day listening to him, erase it from streetlight to streetlight….. And he was interrupted with a huge bang, between the street lights. 45 minutes later….. Here comes the tow truck… Took the intake off…. The whole inside of the engine was hollow. No pistons, no camshaft, no lifters. No connecting rods. Even the crank, evaporated.

    Everything internal, was laying in the bottom of the oil pan.

    On one hand, you got to feel sorry for the guy. But on the other hand….. You can't help but laugh your ass off!

    I mean, let's put a race car engine, in a street car. And tool it around the neighborhood….. Everything should be fine!

    I just looked up the specs for it. Its got 540 to 550 lbs of torque. So this is a monster. I wouldn’t say the best for a drag racer but a get out nonstop its definitely got more than enough to be a monster
