This is purely anecdotal, and everyones algorithms are different, but when i wanted to hear euphoria, the 2nd trending song automatically played every time which was MDB. So, literally every spin i gave euphoria also went to MDB and that continued with very release throughout the beef. On top of that the song is so catchy i wound up listening to it independently as well.

His catchy song blew up due to getting put on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, etc., and young people like the song enough when they hear a snippet to check out his Spotify. This is why old, fat hip hop guys who are out of touch feel like the song is coming out of nowhere and isn't really that popular.
