4. I was anxious, not social, and instantly hooked on the idea of the opiate high before I even knew what it was. I went through recovery off opiates and now turn back to pot. I wonder if this is because my mom did pot. All aside, cannabis is what I use now an I don’t count it against my sobriety since I view it as medical and spiritual. It an psilo are all I do now… well, other than nicotine pouches and the occasional dip. Cannabis is so diverse as a tool, just don’t wear it out or the body gets too used to it. Keep it down from daily if possible.

5. i reckon any risk would be down to the actual act of smoking effecting the lungs, rather than the cannabis itself.
   We gave up everything for a year when my wife fell pregnant, just to be on the safe side. it was hard AF coz we'd smoked for 20 years up til then, but it seemed daft to risk it.
   And oh boy, when i finally sparked up again it was like i'd never done it before. 3 or 4 tokes totally floored me.

6. While I think it’s not nearly as bad as other drugs it’s still a risk and an ignorant decision since no one truly knows if it’s safe or not. I don’t particularly agree with risking your child’s health and development for a quick fix

When my step sister got pregnant with her first child she straight asked her OB-GYN if it was safe to smoke cannabis while she was pregnant and her Dr straight up told her that cannabis doesn't effect the baby at all and the most it would do to her baby is make him have a smaller penis if she was having a boy and she ended up having 3 boys in the end and she smoked the entire time she was pregnant with all 3 of her son's and they all turned out completely fine and she didn't have any complications during her pregnancy or labor and all 3 of her son's live a productive healthy life now and got good grades in school and everything and her oldest son is in his early 20s now and when she gave birth all of her son's came out at healthy weights and everything so her Dr knew what he was talking about and never told or asked her to quit smoking during any of her pregnancies so it's safe to say I think any woman that chooses to smoke cannabis before during and after their pregnancy should be perfectly fine and like I said her oldest is in his early 20s so this was before they figured out they could use cannabis medically and before they legalized it in our state

14. @stormigee420 I saw some medical review studies on video and it looks like regardless of the mother advising of marijuana use . They did do thier own for medical studies … they didn't mention getting the police involved however with personal experience… I told the doctor with my 1st pregnancy that I wanted something else to help with morning sickness so I could quit cuz I couldn't even keep fluids down from time to time. Well I ju a t got lectured that they would test my kid when born and just left me with more anxiety… cuznof course then I had to quit which stressed out that pregnancy and I wasn't able to eat much… had my daughter who's 19 -and actually on the autism spectrum… when she was 9 months old however I got pregnant again with her sister who's now 18… well I didn't tell the doctor the 2nd time around pregnancy was alot more healthier and enjoyable and she actually is NT Neurologically typical) not diagnosed with asd .. they had to induce my labor which I regrete cuz it was then she didn't like what was going on and I ended up needing an emergency c section… other than that everythings been ok I just always found that interesting

15. My wife used cannabis with our second child and believe it or not she’s the smartest of the 3 kids we have.

16. my son is 2 now and he is very functional and a fast learner. his mom used edibles and smoked dabs for her constant pain, appitite and lack of sleep. yes there were some birth issues, but most of that was caused by medical malpractice

18. I smoked through out my 2008/2009 pregnancy with my daughter. I also been smoking since 2005 and her father had been smoking even longer then me and he didn't know how to read or write but our daughter is going to graduate a year or two early she's extremely smart and very involved in school activities and has been in a relationship for over 2 years but she's extremely Dyslexic and she does have behavioral issues but that's from childhood trauma from her being ripped from me and her father because we smoked weed. So I agree with everything you said

19. I would say yes because my wife had horrible morning sickness, but after as little as 2 hits of a joint ot completely went away for that day, kids are now 13, and 16 and they are beautiful and smart they are both on the honor role.

21. I didn’t smoke while pregnant with my son. He had behavioral issues. I was so scared to smoke because of what they say. When I was pregnant with my daughter I smoked. Every day. I quit about 6 weeks before giving birth. I didn’t want my baby to test dirty cuz cps don’t like that. She was a straight A student with zero behavior issues. 🤷‍♀️

26. My mom was very open to me and my sister about her marijuana use during her pregnancy with us. She had such bad morning sickness that she wasn't eating and the doctor was worried she would have a miscarriage so he recommended to her to try marijuana and she said it turned everything around and though I was born 2 weeks late I was born healthy and strong as well as my sister a year later. Obviously everyone has their own experiences with it.

28. My wife used cannabis in small amounts several times during pregnancy for nausea and my son was born 10 lbs 2 oz! Hes now 16 and 6 foot 2, learning to drive, plays bass in the orchestra, has a job and is on the honor roll and in honors classes! Maybe in the end its just parenting. The people who just continued to smoke regardless of pregnancy probably arent the best parents to begin with and that will contribute to behavioral issues more than weed. Also if the behavioral issues were from that they would've been prevalent at an early age and not just show up later.

I have no medical certs and have done no real research but I am gonna go against the stream on this and say it is a bad idea to get high while pregnant. You share a bloodstream with the baby, you get high, baby gets high.
