  1. school wont fix "gang wars" what might fix it is taking the individual finding out what interests them "apart from gang life" and turn it into a job and teach them that, not everyone can be put in a room with books and a teacher and expect to the same results thats why some kids "fail" its not the kids failing its the school failing to teach the child about what that child is interested in and then setting them up with the tools needed to turn that into a career… say a kid likes stealing bikes, why not show them how to build a bike repair it or sell them legally

  2. That’s wild. Who would have thought. If you ban guns you don’t really ban them. You just keep people from legally owning them. Mind blown

  3. Yo TLR, shout outs my g, absolute love from here in Auckland, New Zealand. But my bro, wheres the breakdown of 7th Gang and the King of Drill CB?? Surely he deserves the Trap Lore? You're a living legend, been watching since reactions and wont stop.

  4. Big respect to the UK but the gang culture in the states is so so much worse just based on the weapons we can get our hands on, yea it’s a shame youths are running around with blades stabbing each other but over here there are full blown shoot outs using military grade automatic guns with 50-100 round drums and scopes and all that

  5. I know these guys are dangerous and what not but as an American I have a really hard time taking British rappers/gangsters serious. The accent is just not threatening at all.

  6. These goofies and their little pokey wars are funny. Want to be America SO BAD. We don’t like your music, give it up. Your accent is garbage that is why we don’t like your euro rap. 😂

  7. Why do we, specifically western blacks (by in large), celebrate, embrace and peddle trauma?

I know many of you have more than likely heard this narrative prevade through most of your life and as I do, recoil in disgust at the notion that all we propogate as a racial group is lowly behaviour, underwhelming academic achievement, crime, infidelity, quick-income career paths, irresponsible parenting etc…

We’ve all been in the scope of some right-wing loser, trying to fire these kinda sentiments toward us online. Most of the time it’s being delivered by some limp, edgelord cuck trying to feel better because he’s achieved nothing in life and that’s easy to defend against. We know as black people that we are way more diverse and varied in our behaviour than a lot of the racist caricaturing that floods right-wing leaning, online spaces would suggest. We’re kicking ass in a lot of areas.

With that being said, when we turn our attentions inward (I speak for both the uk and America here), it’s hellfire in certain sub-sectors of black culture.

    The fatherlessness is real

The celebration of black-on-black murder is real, the bodies keep piling up wether it be London, Milwaukee, Chicago, Kingston Jamaica. Relative to other groups, our capacity for intraracial killing is quite simply alarming.

Most black people who’ve become mega successful, usually have under the umbrella of some more powerful, non-black organisation. We seem to haemorrhage money out of our communities like no other. Preyed upon by non-black capitalists who wanna get rich peddling our wares/behaviours (YouTubers vlad tv, traplore ross, record labels/sporting agencies).

No one is keener to sell this image to the public than us ourselves. It’s like hammering on about the pain of the black man’s come up post-diaspora is our best go to, it’s that lucrative our rappers sell songs/lifestyles with it. Our brightest minds legitimise it as sell books from it. The worst amongst us ensure it’s being dished out in every low income neighbourhood.

It’s just feels inescapable at times and hurts my soul deeply.

  10. I hate that this is the reality of life in my home city. I hate that there doesn't seem to be anything that anyone can do about it. International friends ask me about visiting London and I don't know what to tell them. If I ever have children I won't raise them here. And yes, I know the whole city isn't like this but even so. I want to live somewhere animals like these men don't roam the streets.
