0:05 The technician tried to drain the engine oil and none came out. He then removed the oil pan and the oil was sludge like the oil filter. The engine was flushed several times but the noise was still there. The customer declined further repairs/diagnosis. Most likely timing noise from a spun connecting rod bearing or timing chain.
0:20 The technician said the customer did not know what they were doing when they tried to wire this power bar in their truck. We did not get any more information on the exact cause of the fire.
0:28 The engine was initially low on engine oil as the car had an oil leak (which was found on a previous visit to the shop). The customer knew about it but did not keep an eye on it. It most likely made quite a bit of noise, especially with numerous holes in the block and oil pan.
0:46 A Dirty rear camera lens and rear bumper are what the customer saw. Easy fix!
1:01 Don’t use a cargo net hook to tow your vehicle or another vehicle out of a ditch. Some tow hooks will be left-hand thread as well, so make sure to check that if you need to use it.
1:19 Certain Toyota Highlander and Highlander Hybrids have this recall.
1:39 Customer’s vehicle is in very rough shape.
1:45 The technician had to fix the wires and also remove the spray foam that was behind the dashboard and in other spots.
1:59 No extra information.
2:08 Dodge Nitro.
2:21 The technician said the engine needed to be replaced. Was not replaced at his shop.
2:30 Electric power-assisted steering gear/rack caused the noise.
2:39 We’ve seen this a ton of times. If you’re modifying your exhaust always look at where the tailpipe is pointing towards. As many customers had them pointing directly to their fuel tank, wires or other bad spots.
2:53 Not the best thing to use to winch a vehicle out, but it worked!

  1. Some of the rust issues seen on your vids are completely mind blowing to someone from the UK. We have a mandatory yearly MoT (Ministry of Transport) test for all cars over 3 years old. This would catch all those horrors long before they got that bad.

Bizarrely the MoT as a Ministry no longer exists and hasn't for decades but the name lives on in the test name. Even more bizarrely if you run an historic vehicle, you don't have to have an MoT test or pay road tax. Third-type logic.

What are the 3 types of Logic? 1. Vulcan logic or 'Reality-Truth'. Dunt actually exist though real truthful expressions of life and the universe would sometimes be handy. 2. Definitions from Oxford Languages · Learn more

    logic

    /ˈlɒdʒɪk/

    noun

    1.

reasoning conducted or assessed according to strict principles of validity.

"experience is a better guide to this than deductive logic"

    Similar:

    science of reasoning

    science of deduction

    science of thought

    dialectics

    argumentation

    ratiocination

    2.

a system or set of principles underlying the arrangements of elements in a computer or electronic device so as to perform a specified task.

    3. Bureaucratic half-logic. A set of rules and definitions that address a set of realities and conditions as perceived by bureaucrats. MoT name and requirements is and exampleof one of these…….

  2. I'm no electrician, but I think the power strip caught on fire because they tried to connect it directly to the battery without a converter, and a house outlet has 15 Amps while a car battery has 50-100 Amps. Also it's made for AC and a car battery is DC. Then again it shouldn't have caught on fire until they tried to plug something into it, thus completing the circuit and shorting out the battery.

  3. I'm ready to pull apart my dashboard to destroy the beeeeeep that goes off to alert me that I'm in Drive. I've never had a car beep to tell me I'm in drive. Reverse, understandable but Drive??? This channel is the only thing stopping me.

  4. 0:18 Sounds like a spun rod bearing to me. I don't understand how someone can do that to a car, especially such an expensive one. When well cared for, most German cars have no trouble hitting the 300,000mi mark.
If you're going to try and scam a free fix after hitting an animal, be sure and clean off the fur and blood. The sad thing is the pure white color of the fur suggests they hit someone's pet. Wild animals tend to only have solid white fur in the arctic.

  5. What do these people think all those flashing warning lights are on the dash telling them the oil needs to be changed? HOW are you SO brainless you don't know the oil needs to be changed at least once a year???

  6. Always love the level of dumb assery, but your palette cleanser at the end of this one was next level! That yellow ramp truck was insane… 🤤
