40 thoughts on “Most Expensive Paint Colors Ever

  1. These ''Italian green'' has been historicly used to other italian aplications, Like Legnano bikes (verde legnano) and in motorcycles too…V7 sport telaio rosso. I don't know if there is any ''historical connection'' to this thing.

  2. The reason the Python Green Chromaflair is so much more expensive then other paint to sample colors is because they used the same material that makes the hologram on Euro banknotes. They have to account to the German government for every ounce used. Source: Rennbow

  3. Honestly, if I bought a carbon fiber Jesko, I'd probably choose the clear-coat option. Not just because it's "cheap" (in comparison), but because it means that a scratch or whatever does less damage to the car.

  4. Honestly I think the Porsche 918 was the worst particularly the fancy jargon liquid metal that just looks like a standard grey and no one except car nerds would be able to tell that it's anything special

  5. Talking about paint colours. Imagine comparing a car with all extras (limited edition paint, etc.) vs taking the base model and modding it to a similar or better condition. – this is what got me into the car modding scene.

  6. anyone catch thier math error with the rolls royce diamonds? They estimated 1000 diamonds with a TOTAL measurement of .25 karats, not 1000 2.5 karat diamonds. Other than that great vid

  7. Spoken like someone who’s never painted pearl and metallics. Some of the flakes and pigments alone are thousands for ounces. Also painting pearls and metallics on million dollar cars isn’t the same a krylon job on your s10

  8. It's not the difficulty of painting, it's the cost of development. New paints can do some really weird ** when you put them on a car depending on the pigments used i.e peel, pool, change colours etc etc. Then there's testing which is a whole other can of worms. Subjecting a paint to a lifetimes worth of sunlight damage in a typical development cycle for example.

  9. Diamond powder that were left over from the jewelry store? You’re talking about the same company that only uses leather from cows that have never seen a fence. Doesnt sound like them to use left over diamond waste
