1. Hawthorne is the Canadian subsidiary of Scotts. It was set up for testing because of the anti cannabis culture in believe it or not California. I saw a video where one of their executives said the taxes were near 80% to do this same research in the US. Taxes don't equal profit. We as consumers are not part of the corporate culture.
   Pigeons is correct. WE are the market. WE can decide what products we buy, support and or promote.

3. Im less concerned about if a company supports whatever and more intrested in their product, quality, reliability and hope their gear is good enough that i dont have to rely on 5 star customer service to get something worked out.

   Influencers who are typically sponsored always try to sell up the most unrealistic kits and gear for beginners. Lol

   Example:

   "Oh yes, you MUST have the COMPLETE AC Infintity grow tent that comes with everything you need for the low price of $999.99"

   1000 bucks is not what a totally inexperienced grower wants to throw money on to test out if they can even grow.

   Always do your own research and vetting.

6. You guys complain about spending $100 a lid. Ots $100 a quarter here!! It's the same price in the med dispensaries and it's crap.

7. I bought the luxx 645 pros last November before hawthorn bought them out. I think it’s a fantastic light and they were half the money of the equivalent gavita and I liked the build quality better on the Luxx. If you can find these lights they are still a good buy while supplies last. I paid 600 each vs 1200 for the gavita.

11. I can’t tell you how many time I’ve went into a dispensary and the tender automatically try’s too sell me on the high THC ! I have to stop them and tell them that the terps are so more important!!!!!!! It can “ TEST “ at a %12 but taste amazing and I would rather have that . I want too enjoy what i consume!! Then they look like a deer in headlights man 😑😑

14. Sounds good except they can afford to lose more money in a day than you will make in a year. So not much you can do. If they can setup a multimillion dollar facility in Canada to develop products for cannabis that they won’t bring to market until federal legislation in us. People like to think that small grows will survive like microbrews it won’t.
