16 thoughts on “Do These Things When Flipping to Flower… – FTS Clips

  1. I stopped topping and twisting branches and all that garble and my plants love me for it!! I let them Christmas tree now. The last crop was amazing……I'm 32 days into flowering 8 plants right now. That's 4 less plants than I grew 2 crops ago and this one is will be the biggest harvest I've ever had!! Less is more!

  2. I messed up a lot of cycles, here is where I’m at:
    1) stop trying to blaze by veg cycle with lots of light and food.
    2) spray amino acids and calcium daily.
    3) prune heavy but not often so you keep starch reserves high.
    4) avoid nitrogen and kelp use amino acids as much as possible as a replacement for N

Doing these things my plants switch over faster and smell way stronger.

  3. i like to leave a larfe site low in each limb. just in case you get that magic pheno and want to reveg. that way i can cut my plant back to a more manageble size

  4. Pigeon you could have said it best.." remove 1 third to 2 thirds of bottom larf… I look at acotty and ican and just wonder if they actually hear anyone. Sorry I'm calling out like Jordan Peterson but fr you guys have all these top growers guiding and the best of the best for lights in line fans tents and controller boards…

  5. I’ll take clones usually a couple weeks before I flip. As far as pests go in my tent the only time I’ve ever gotten spiders or thrips was from cross contamination from other people at the grow store. Also if you’re getting PM in a tent you’re doing something seriously seriously wrong

  6. This channel is by far my favorite podcast on the plant we all know and love 😆. It's especially important for me to hear the insight from Chris, as I also live in Nevada. Keep up the good work boys.

  7. I always start pulling off the bottom when they start to grow and as they progress I remove a couple leaves every week (mainly ones in the way or touching the soil as I'm "scrog" training). Never had an issue with shock that way and I feel the energy wont be wasted in growing mass that I will inevitably chop off. As Chris said though, sometimes I get lazy and end up with a huge mess lol.
