A shocking series which goes behind the headlines to find out what it is really like to work as an undercover agent. These are tales from the criminal underworld as told by the people who lived it – and living a lie among dangerous criminals is not for the faint-hearted!

Undercover cops have provided material for countless movies and TV dramas, and their real stories are just as gripping. The show features candid interviews with former agents and their operators, as well as dramatic stylisations of key events. There are stories of friendships made and broken, betrayals, frustrations, and the agents’ ultimate dedication to a cause to make the world a safer place.

This series explores what happens to police officers permitted to take drugs and live long-term, elaborate lies in order to catch criminals. Can testimony from these cops hold up in court? Where does the responsibility for the drug abuse and psychological trauma among undercover agents lie? Their answers – and the stories they tell – will shock, surprise and inspire.

  1. Going undercover is dangerous work. Being undercover for a long time can wreck you. A spouse can get very worried and scared in these undercover operations. It is best to stay away from the family until the job is done.

  2. Going undercover and infiltrating biker gangs is so dangerous. But staying undercover for a long time wrecks you. It is so stressful. Hence smoking some weed calms you.

  3. from the uk here and have heard aussies and kiwis on about this drug called "p" what is this drug? pcp or something else
    cheers

  4. If anybody wanted to.. they could put together Steve's whole face from this video. Considering he asked to stay anonymous, this wasn't really the way to go about it 🤣

  5. Addict on cannabis…??!!!! For God Sake.
I Start smoking cannabis at 12 until 17 and never was Addicted to that, and used to smoked 15,20 joints a day.
When i Turn to Heroin,oh yes thats was the true addiction,of body and soul,24/7,365 days a year.

  6. I never knew New Zealand considered cannabis as such a "hard" drug, yes you can withdraw if you're a heavy user and stop instantly, but we're talking insomnia, increased sweating and at most anxiety/depression for a week or so, but if we look at the majority of the rest of the world, its actually a medication, (Morphine/heroin is used as a painkiller and short term medication which is different) you can still function, walk talk and even perform at a higher level whilst medicating with cannabis

  7. These are people were turned into broken soles by the very department that they were severing, how dare the Police the Government and all these Judgemental people demonize these people, the should be given full compensation and be able to give counciling to those effected by Drug abuse.

  8. Cannabis being considered a drug in itself shows how willfully ignorant of scientific facts the police forces around the world were and are.

  9. I've smoked weed for over 20 years I've never once thought about pissing my pants this is some bullshit marijuana is not a drug is not the same thing as being strung out on heroin or pills
