AMAZE Cannabis
Jay Patel grew up in India, where he saw the negative stigma and lack of education surrounding cannabis firsthand. He witnessed how the plant was demonized by the government and media, despite its historical medicinal use in his country. After moving to the United States and experiencing the positive impact of cannabis on his grandmother and son, Jay became passionate about sharing his knowledge and breaking down the stereotypes surrounding the plant.
The Patel family founded Amaze Cannabis, a brand dedicated to providing high-quality, responsibly sourced cannabis products and education to consumers. Through Amaze Cannabis, Jay hopes to change the conversation around cannabis and promote its benefits to those who may have previously been hesitant to try it. Amaze currently employs nearly 80 members of the Moberly community, including several members of his family.
In this episode, we learn about the Patel family’s incredible capacity to endure the hardships of starting a cannabis cultivation company. In addition to this, we get a rare and unique look into the master growing techniques of the award-winning Director of Cultivation and Breeding, Roger Henrichs. Roger and Nate take the deepest dive in show history into what it takes to bring such high-quality genetics to the world!

48 thoughts on “AMAZE Cannabis: Empowering Communities, Dispelling Myths, and Mastering the Art of Cultivation

  1. I used to make my own mix of perlite, vermiculite, humus, granite sand, and bat guano. Fish fertilizer was what I used… old school but it got results. The old spiral book of weed taught good basic techniques.

  2. Amaze is a company I could aspire to work for as far as quality. I dont know much else about the company, but they definitely put out some quality product in the state.

  3. I thought buddy said they run organic but they are running house and garden and thats not 100% organic. Guess ive been an organic grower for years🤦‍♂🤦‍♂

  4. This is an amazing facility but I have to comment on the term they're using, "living soil." They are not using living soil. Feeding the plants is defeating the entire purpose of living soil. They're using a feeding regimen to feed the plants as opposed to adding top dressings to a large soil bed to feed the soil. They're essentially using an inert material with worm castings, cheap potting soil, and coco, and they're keeping them in small pots. That is not living soil. Living soil requires a large bed or many large fabric pots, and the addition of soil insects, compost and soil amendments like rock dust and seed meals onto the top most layer and covering that with mulch and seeding the bed with cover crops. The soil gets better from cycle to cycle. Why don't they use their soil mixer to make their own real living soil and trade out the tiny pots for long fabric beds? It wouldn't even cost them much to get started. I'm stunned they're using the term living soil. It's like Kraft Mac & Cheese saying "made with real cheese." They either don't understand living soil, or they want to be able to use the term living soil in their branding to make consumers feel better about it. They're actually doing organic semi-hydro with worm castings. Nothing wrong with that. I'd rather use that than a chemical hydro cannabis, but it is simply not the living soil method.

  5. I make a similar root wet powder fine crushed charcoal that's inoculated .It's great for root biology to cling to. It's all in the inoculation tho that's were the magixs at.

  6. YOU PEOPLE HAVE GOT NO IDEA HOW HARD IT IS FOR PASSIONATE GROWERS OVER IN ENGLAND. TO DREAM OF A FACILITY JUST TO PERSUE A PASSION HOBBY ISN'T PROHIBIYLTED HERE. IT'S HARD MAN. YOU HAVE TO JUST SETYLE FOR SMALL NOOKS AND CRANMUES AND PUSH THROUGH WITHOUT THE BEST GROYNDWORK.

  7. Can you summarize the facilities':
feeding regimen, time for veg and flower, wattage and method, g/w and %thc and terpenes, that would give us all the insight we need really

  8. I own 2.5 acres in the Lancaster CALIFORNIA, taxes current ! I going to put it on the market soon. I was hoping you could inform me of the best way forward in this market. of coarse I would like your thoughts!

  9. I’ve read some articles recently that talk about the inability to get the product to market because their is a lack of distribution via dispensaries, is this still the case?

Also that the heavy tax burdens and regulations make it difficult to compete with the black market on price, is this still the case?

If these two things are indeed legitimate problems, how do you think that the industry could have been better prepared to start off so that it could of been a smoother transition from illegal to legal with an aim to make sure workers had job security and investors did see their money go up in smoke?

  10. By far the best company in missouri!!! I love their Lava Cake Flower Cookie Dos.. and just today finally got my hands on The Jam.. I really wish amaze could keep besa me wellness over in warrensburg stocked.. we are starving for some more Amaze products.. I also LOVE the triple burger rosin!! If anyone reading this can stock our store I would b forever grateful 🙏

  11. in all aspects Conversation and Contemplation rules the nation .. my first seed in the ground was 1972 a colombian gold , my first introduction to a seedless flower was by accident , during mid season , i was topping plants and noticed a cigarette sized runt in full flower with no seed , the flower was the size of a cig filter , i picked it n stashed it in my glove box and forgot about it for a few months , when i did smoke it i was out of smoke n remembered the runt bud , pushed in my cigarette lighter retrieved the bud n got 3 good nose hits before it was gone , left the river bottoms n headed to town for a loaf of bread , not a mile down the road i experienced an OMG fork me running paranoia so strong i stopped the truck n turned around and headed back to the river with my foot off the gas . Thus began my love affair with the Seedless Flower ..

  12. Man I love this videos amazing. I WOULD LOVE TO find my way into this business. I just don't no where to start but I love and view this industry just like the fine bourbon industry , so yum.
