0:05 Here is some more information on the transmission testing tool the technician used, in case you’re curious about how it works – https://transmissionbench.com/shifter.html
0:33 An easy fix for the technician!
0:49 If you look closely you can see that the customer used wood screws in some other spots. Hopefully, he didn’t screw into anything else!
1:02 The technician was very surprised to see this, but left it where it was and just added the engine oil.
1:10 Now the customer will need new brake pads once again and brake rotors. The shop was not told what other shop did this work.
1:22 From the looks of it the customer must have had a bad brake caliper on the passenger side, so instead of replacing it he just put pinched the brake line.
1:37 A common issue for VW’s. Hopefully, the customer gets it repaired before it causes an issue while they are driving.
1:45 The battery was replaced and the sound system was properly rewired and a fuse was installed on the power side.
2:00 Wires from the light on the headache rack were pinched between the third brake light and allowed water to leak in.
2:08 Second time we have seen this happen on the channel! Better off not having those stickers on your vehicle.
2:17 Toyota Prius. Headlights and bulbs were replaced.
2:27 If you hear your engine make an unusual sound always check your engine oil! Looks like the customer will need a new engine now.
2:41 Hopefully the customer is getting another shop to do the repairs.
2:54 No extra info.
3:06 Outro. Thanks for watching!

the jeep was extra special. fancy wiring, and those nifty valves under the hood. upon glancing inside that thing, the mechanic should have declined to even look at it.
That wrench flipping up would have been my cue to go home. No way that wouldn’t be the rest of my straws. Byeee!
Is it offensive if I call my indy BMW guy (who installed my turbos, clutch, and rod bearings for me) a lube tech?
How tf do you guys still have less than 1m subs
The idiotic home jobs never ceases to amaze me. Followed by, "the customer declined all repairs and drove out of the shop". If only a law existed to ban those cars from being driven until properly repaired.
Using a lottery ticket to patch up melted battery. I bet it beats tin foil!
The best way to avoid getting your catalytic converter stolen is to not have one!
(There's a legal way, and an illegal way, to not have one.)
Man, that XJ hurts to look at!
Those tools will get you one way or another. I reached for a socket wrench working on my mower and blew my back out for 2 weeks.
I wired up an amplifier for a neighbor once, after finding him a good deal on a sub/amp setup, everything but the fuse. He paid next to nothing for the setup, but didn't follow my advice to add a fuse at the battery. He also ignored my advice anout setting the gains/cross-over settings conservatively and went ahead and adjusted it "BOOM-BOOM" (rattle the trunk style) and was surprised to see the copper on the positive lead completely melt through the insulation and some of the trunk fabric. As it was determined, the amplifier completely shorted after the abuse and turned the wire into a heating element.
At the end there with pictures of beautiful older cars, anyone know what make model is in the upper left. Black with white wire wheels?💙
The customer tried to patch the battery using a lottery ticket is probably the funniest thing I've ever heard on this channel.
He had to use the lottery tickets for something…..that's where all his battery money went😂
Wood screws is fer cars. Machined stainless bolts is fer birdhouses.

Some of these "repairs" people try performance themselves are quite scary.
@1.00 was intentional. That's one of those traps they put in places to spread diseases.
That lottery ticket battery fix has got to be the apotheosis of white trash
Im from Europe and I’m sorry but Americans are not helping the stereotype… only think I wonder how insurance pays for all this… like people coming with coins in doors and wonder what is the metal sound or instead of trying to look around parking break for what may been activating that u assume it’s failure when it’s air freshener… I’m amazed…
Mess ‘o wires 🍀
The number of people who can't grasp the concept of automatic climate controls is astounding.
