22 thoughts on “Who Brought the HAZE to New York?

  1. It is it really that different from Dutch Haze? That smelt like incense too, you could get fire super silver in ldn too but the strongest was the amnesia in Amsterdam smelt like fresh sour apple electric somehow, before they lost the good pheno.

  2. called Miami Haze. almost every cuban/Latino household in Miami in the 80's had a G-room. entire neighborhood's would smell like Haze. Miami brought Haze to NY

  3. That shit was grown local shit was sprayed with a mix of chemicals that’s why mfs felt so high it was cheap to grow the chemicals really was the boost my uncle used to grow back in the days all his people were doing the same some just used different mixes for the spray

  4. Nothing like that uptown Dyckman pureee, the Dominicans had the Haze on deck. $400 a zip for that loudpack block work. I haven't been able to find that original haze NY sour diesel for years now.

  5. We also had 2 strains in Trenton, NJ before I was old enough to to smoke. Haze and something we called Pepperhead. Pepperhead was mostly white. Til this day I have no idea wtf it was 🤷🏽‍♂️

  6. Haze ain’t the Same Haze like the early 2000s that’s wen you walk anywhere in the Heights and Every block had a pitcher pitching all day everyday!! We got that Púree

  7. Cubans was sending it to Dominicans at first but then Dominicans started growing it in NY. At that time if you wasn't getting it from a Dominican it wasn't the same quality.

  8. When haze came to New York that was all I wanted to smoke, the smell the taste and the high were so different from every other weed that was out at the time

  9. They had a certain cut of haze tho with the frankincense smell people been trying to find a haze like that for decades but only the Dominicans had it. Supposedly came from Florida like a lot of big strains but I doubt that haze is even around anymore.

  10. It was grown in Miami…the Cuban plug…they also had Crippy..my cousin told me it was a different strain she said it was a white widow ..it was green fluffy white crystal spheres. Fire but never seen it New York City…I vouch for Miami.

  11. Heard it came from FL and FL got it from the islands.

To me when I first saw it, it looked like someone popped seeds they found in Mexican brick weed😂
Straight the Fuck up, it tastes like it too 😂

  12. I’m 38 now and I can’t believe this is now an Urban Legend 😂
Only if the Haze from those days still exist. Buy a dub get a dime free .
My name ain’t Hayze for nothing . Had it since 04’

  13. No cap though haze is the best smelling weed on earth and is incomparable to any other smell, thats the first weed I ever smoked in nyc in 1999 was silver haze then a buncha purple came around then the lemon but that silver haze was special and grown by people who ACTUALLY CARED unlike todays watered down herb#growyourown
