  2. He failed to mention John Rockefeller saved the whales with his cheap oil. Prior to Standard Oil Company's vertical integration, Western Civilization ran on whale oil. That's why whales were hunted to near extinction. Computers and flash drives are saving the forests.

  3. 🤑🏟️🫂❤️‍🔥🫁🤳😎🪞📟😅🙏🎤🦻💰💰💰💰💰💰💰🦿🎭🏋️🎩🦾🎧🥇🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆✌️🕷️👋🦸🛵🕸️👽🗣️😂👃⚖️🫥🤖🤙

  4. Most of the old growth forests were lost for ship building in Europe. They needed a bigger navy and they found the trees to get it. Pretty sad…

  5. Great interview and info
I love Bladerunner it’s my favorite movie but I don’t want our only animals being robotic pets and or clones.
    We can’t breathe without 🌲’s

  6. He explains that a lot of the gold miners and loggers are just indigenous people who have no other option, and how you can convert them if you offer them a better life, but also says most of them will kill you for opposing them, drag you out of your bed in the middle of the night and murder you in front of your family. Definitely some mixed signals about who's running the mining. I'd like to say I wish they could be saved, but it sounds like the fix to the mining issues is military intervention with a shoot on site no questions asked mentality.

  7. Well a trans-Amazonian-Highway could be argued to be good.. it could influence tourism along the highway. Yes they’re cutting a 6 lane wide path thru the Forrest. But there’s alot more

  8. 40:00 please dont fall for the trap that a lower population is a good thing. if the earth's population declines dramatically over the next few decades, it will cause HUGE problems with everything.

  9. You guessed amazon sequesters 100s of tons of CO2 each year. You were not even close – actual estimates place it around 1.5 billion tons/year.

  10. Something that started as an adventure of a lifetime to someone who has become an advocate to save what is possible with the help of many like the loggers who have change their lives also…the Amazon is the lungs of the earth..thanks for sharing..

  11. Graham Hancock has done more good for the human race than this whoever wishes he could dream of. He's not always right, but he has inspired generations to learn about history and to not swallow everything the authorities try to feed you.
What's this guy ever done for humanity? Will he…🤐

  12. This man literally said that hearing about the missionary getting killed in north sentinel island filled his heart with warmth idc if you’re religious or not that is the take of shit human beings

  13. this is the second podcast where you, or in this case your guest, shit on rogan and his guests, &completely mix around the facts or what they said. graham hancock is way more informed on the amazon than this dude.
