Fernando Puente grew up living between the US / Mexico border in the worst parts of Tijuana, and by the age of 18, he was already crossing immigrants over the US border illegally for one of Mexico’s most notorious cartels. Today Fernando writes stories, and hosts his own podcast @ElBordoMx with the aim to inspire & give hope to the disadvantaged youth in Mexico.

  2. I love how this guy is so hard, yet he corrects his grammar the entire podcast as if he wants to have college level English. When you notice it, you can’t not notice it. Better than 99% of US Americans.

  3. It’s so good to hear someone who still understands and holds true to their values. Giving the grace that he does to his friends is what is missing in people nowadays. No judgement in how they choose to walk, embracing people for the good exchanges had. ❤ this conversation.

  4. Came across this at about 2 am got sleep problems. Thought I would check it out. Glad I did this is one of the best I've watched so far. Watch yourself little brother. The dirt is better under your feet.

  5. Good stuff I'm glad his friends family had that $3000 handy, when his friend had it handy at the swap meet to pay the $1000 for the computer when said friend whipped out $3000 before the police abduction. I guess they made "$6000" that day plus a clean gun. I'm moving to TJ tomorrow. Very interesting story teller though and I know for fact he's a great artist. Work on the story telling though. Peace

  6. W😮W, I am just listing for only a few minutes, but this dude is …. How can he smiling & laughing about human trafficking and what else he did…some dudes better spent their life behind bars, just WOW

  7. I can really relate to Mr. Puente’s mom: as a single mother there was a point in my life where I was slanging drugs just to make ends meet. I wasn’t getting high or anything, but I ended up getting caught up and went straight. Ended up starting my own company and everything has been great since!

  8. Mayo not in Narcos? Who the F run the shrimp trawlers in Mazatlan?. Arellano Felix brothers set fire to one of them, before Mayo finally joined Sinaloa after being independent for years.
