   I'm an old-school Cruehead fan since the early 1980s &
   
   there is no replacement on planet EARTH for Mick Mars!
   
   No disrespect to John5 who is an amazing guitar player in his own talent, but he is not Mick.
   
   Mick Mars helped to make Motley who they are over four decades.
   
   I believe if Mick never joined the band there never would have been a Motley Crue & the band would have fallen flat on its face without Mick!
   
   Mick Mars was never into Drama or trying to HotDog on Stage.
   
   Mick has always been a genuine player & is all business on stage.
   
   It's sad how the other three band members have rolled Mick under the bus now after Mick retired from the band.
   
   Shame on the band and their greed to cut Mick down from 25% to a lousy 5% royalty cut from what I heard on one of the Metal interviews on Youtube this month.
   
   Mick is the Hero of Motley Crue & the other three are acting like douches now towards their former Guitar player Mick Mars.
   
   Motley should just retire & call it a carrier!

4. When the keyboardist and guitarist of the former Doors attempted to go on tour as The Doors the retired drummer sued them and won, forcing the two remaining members to go on tour as The Doors of the 21st Century.

5. Apparently in 2008 they all signed an agreement that stated if one retired from touring that person would not get any revenue from touring. However, it is possible that when Motley Crue retired from touring in 2015 (i think correct me if I'm off on the year) the previous agreement in 2008 would be null,void, and no longer valid because the band retired from touring. And when they un-retired a new agreement/contract would need to be drawn-up, agreed to by all, and then signed. I do not think they can just revert back to the old agreement in 2008.

13. Allen Kovac brought up a bunch of completely irrelevant points. And if he’s so concerned about John 5 getting paid why doesn’t he volunteer to give up some of his management commission? He also has a lot of money, which is his ridiculous point that Mick is rich enough as if that has f-all to do with what he’s legally entitled to. I don’t believe anything that Motley says most of the time, although I’m not saying they’re wrong here. The law may be on their side, only time will tell. But in the meantime, stop acting like this is anything other than a business. This is about money, that’s why they rescued Mick in 2000, he was part of their paycheck. Again it’s business please don’t insult the fans by acting like anything Motley does is out of concern for Mick. P.S. I’m still waiting to see footage of Mick messing up his guitar parts last summer. Crazy how no one seems to have seen or heard Mick do anything less than a great job playing his parts…

He deserves his share- come on guys, you have enough money already to not be acting this way- Nikki sure does… I don't know about Vince and Tommy- but I suspect neither one of them are having to take part time jobs stocking shelves or driving for uber either- I've heard Nikki always took care of Mick when mick had ex wives taking all of his stuff- Nikki supposedly had legal possession of micks property and possessions so the ex wives couldn't take it all from him- I don't know if that's true but that always made me feel happy for Mick that Nikki was looking out for him, but whether that's true or not that's the opposite of what's happening now when they're talking about not giving mick his fair share of his ownership of the business. Bottom line- MOTLEY CRUE- you are supposed to be a gang of badasses that took on the world together and made some of the best music of the genre- you are supposed to be brothers. That means sharing the wealth, and sharing the love. Please pull your heads out of your asses. John 5 is awesome but he's not on any of those records from the 80s that made you who you are- so yes, john 5 gets paid- he gets paid handsomely (of course) off the top for each gig much like the road crew and and the other hired hands, because he is essentially a hired hand. Hes not an original member and he didnt write any of the songs… and then what's left is split between the four of you. Mick does need to retire – so he can enjoy his life. Hes put in his time. Hell- he named the band! John 5 is a great fit, and that's a good move- but not only should John 5 get paid off the top, but he gets to have the clout of saying he is in motley crue- which is a big deal! So now he can add that to his list – rob zombie, DLR, Crue, etc… he's got a badass resume! No disrespect to John 5 at all – he's a badass for sure. Just please take care of Mick- this is such a bad look. It's depressing to see my childhood heroes not getting along and letting money come between them. I love you all. Nikki, Tommy, Vince, Mick, and John 5. Please love one another and do what's right for your brothers.

17. I think Mick is a legend but, after watching many vids about this, I feel that you can’t get paid the same when you’re not touring, as when you are touring. Was he playing live for free? A percentage most definitely, but a reduced one due to reduced work.

Vince didn't get 25% share of the tour money in 1994 with Corabi and Tommy didn't get 25% share of the money in 2000 when Samantha took his spot…enough said. Sorry Mick, but you can't do it anymore. The only victim I see is John 5 because who's going to pay his salary if Mick wants 25% – for NOT playing?

30. Was there a signed contract like they first claimed ? If there was, they pre agreed. If there isnt, they suck. And considering they are on tour, they could have either given in to Micks demands or left the debate until later. I wonder how many will not go to hear playback from a group of guys who are trying to rip off a handicapped work mate.

37. If it’s true there are no royalties or any money coming in from anything but touring, then I’m not sure why Mick would get anything. If I were him I’d take the 7.5% and sail into the sunset.

Right it's simple they all lose 5% that 5% pays for John 5 and whatever that costs are when when they need a to pay a fill in like when Tommy breaks his ribs or Vince falls off a stage… Bottom line none of these guys are spring chickens and they'll all be in the same position Mick is in soon so show the guy his due respect and celebrate his 40 years… This is what happens when you got too much money you start worrying about the money and thinking the money is more important than the person or a 40 year friendship… These guys could live another 100 years and never run out of money so don't try and steal someone else's share…

45. I hope this works out on both sides and there is no hard feelings. Also, the 5 rock festivals you have are simply too far for travel for me – even if I was to win. Rockville is in Florida, Sonic Temple is in Ohio (should have kept the previous name), Incarceration Fest is also in Ohio, Louder Than Life is in Kentucky, and Aftershock is in California (shitty state). ANd my favorite band is playing n 4 out of 5 festivals. Dang! I am only able to go to the M3 festival that is held in Columbia, MD every year.

    But the bottom line is this……what about the specifics in the document that was signed way back in the say? WHat merit does this have in this whole thing? WHy drag it out if what that document states says anyone who is not participating in tours no longer profits from it in the same way – especially being an original member? Just because you are not participating in your job anymore, doesn;t mean you don't get "retirement" pay. However, I can see the arguments being brought by Kovacs. And what about the fact that Mick was going to go out on his own?
