What was James taking? Just alcohol? Not very specific
The reality about going "sober"for musicians is the fact that the music becomes less creative and experimental.Unpopular reality is that drugs help creative endeavors when it comes to writing and making new music, the best albums in rock history have been alcohol and drug fueled. The lyrics in this new album definitely sounds simplistic and underwhelming
I feel him here. I always have to be careful who I say it to but on a personal level, the pandemic ended up being a blessing for me. Kind of let me hit the reset button and get shit in order.
New album sucks, they sold out and the new sound sucks.
I love your videos dude. Metallica is by far my favourite band. James is such an inspiration to me. Seeing him go through his struggles is hard but it's great to see that he has the courage to face the elephant in the room head on. I absolutely love their new album, 72 seasons. Absolutely brilliant. Keep up your awesome video content dude…m/
It woulda been a lot cooler to hear James say it himself than have it read by somebody else
Dude! Slow down when u r reading stuff. U butchered it in a few spots. Don't put out low quality product. Do better.
Millionaire's can afford rehab folks that work full time like me with bills mortgage just keep on keeping on drinking lol
yeah….a lot of people were "working" from home during WU-FEST2020
WAH! I'm a multi-millionaire WAH!
What b.s.! Where's the video???
Where the heck did you get that James statue behind you !!?
He needs to do other projects. Lars and Kirk are washed up. Maybe a solo album with guest musicians…I know, probably never. It would be good for him imo.
I think they all need to get back into booze and have the breakfast on a mirror. There music's shit now
Love ya Mr James, you’re a legend my friend.

Alcoholism can't be 'cured' but it can be treated. See Steven Tyler.
Get healthy james.
Long live Metallica. Great band.
Liquid Death
Try being a rock God like James and try NOT having problems! I hope he can battle and get through / past his demons!!
RockFeed or Country Cast? Pick one dude!!!
Glad James is in a good place and the whole band seems to be in a great frame of mind.
hacktalica sucker money grab
I wonder how James would do with psilocybin.
better then ……..Robert Trujillo – The 72 Seasons So What! Interview………one of the most boring interviews i have ever heard !!!!!!
I’m sober since March 2001 from alcoholism…I’m Navajo tribe and 55 years old. My mom who’s been sober 35 years and a Christian picked me off the streets and helped me. Always praying
