  1. That’s the roommates fault lol my childhood dog is in a MARKED BOX!! Incased in glass with a mini memorial inside. On top of a shelf damn near touching my ceiling. The roommate could have bought a safe or sharpied Dads ashes on the box you can buy a new urn…but also if you open an urn it’s ashes are sealed fairly well. Ziplock and double clear wrapped with a barcode maybe even their name.. Hold on this fake lol no way they handling dog ashes better than human remains .😂😂😂

  2. I've never understood the whole keeping ashes thing the entire point of burning a body is to spread the ashes not keep them in a box or vase on your shelf it's just weird.

  3. As sad as it is. It’s a dead person remains that’s been sitting in a box amongst cutter not a in nice vase on a family alter/shelf. It sucks, it’s terrible but it’s was a honest accident but memories of time spent together and a person’s soul are more important then the remains of their human vessel.

  4. Okay this definitely isn’t the whole video but the one thing that rubs me the wrong way about this is the dude doesn’t seem to be communicating that he feels enough empathy for her. Like he seems like he feels worse about being in the position than he does about her sadness.
Getting replacement ashes also seems distasteful to me. I’d rather mourn the loss of something than be given an illegitimate replacement.
At least he feels enough to be talking about it though.

  5. It’s already done my dude just try to put together a photo album of him or some type of memorabilia and give the most sincere apology without putting blame on her (yes she should have marked the box but it’s not the time to point fingers)

  6. There was probably an urn in the box. The ashes I have are in an urn in a box and I have left it in the box so the urn doesn’t break before I get a chance to put up a shelf for it. Good to know to largely mark off that the oddly heavy box is in fact human ashes. My box came with my name and the diseased name Tho so I’d hope someone would read the box before moving it. Like did the person have a cat, why would the box be cat litter? I need to watch the full interview.

  7. I think the idea of keeping someone's remains in a jar on a shelf is kind of gross to begin with… if you keep ashes from a cremation it should be a symbolic thing where you eventually spread them somewhere your deceased loved one would want to be forever. I wouldn't be upset about losing them, I would be upset about knowing they ended up in a dump
