40 thoughts on “Dash Cam Didn’t Stop Cops from Lying

  1. LMAO, we wouldn't lie to you. Cops lie more than used car salesmen. In fact their whole model is based around lying then they make excuses for their lies when called out on them!

  2. Go read the 4th amendment. This explains it all. Without them showing probable cause to suspect that you have committed a crime, you never have to provide anything to a cop or exit your vehicle, no matter what any court says.

  3. A passenger has to show ID? So, according to this cop, if a guy without ID is getting a ride to the DLD/DMV to obtain one, they’re potentially committing a crime?

  4. Lock up the lying criminal badges all. Stop pussy footing around w/these criminals. All of these violations r under color of law. Gangland actions like this should result in terminations, prosecutions &prison time. Where is our DA on this?

I disagree w/the announcer. Retaliatory demands 2get out of the vehicle r not legal as stated when used2 criminalize a constitutionally protected act. Our USCON 4th Amendment guarantees this.

  5. These cops, by now, do they not know the law? They really need to take a class on rights of the citizens. It’s no wonder why people don’t trust cops. Liars!

  6. The officer was so quick to say, "So you're a lawyer?", but in actuality the passenger WAS the correct one!! The police officer was the one who didn't have a firm grip on the law and violated this man's rights!

  7. If a police officer is allowed to lie, does this not make it difficult for the average citizen to be able to distinguish between a lawful and unlawful order?

  8. ANYTIME YOU ARE STOPPED BY POLICE YOU MAKE SURE YOU ARE RECORDING I SUGGEST YOU STREAM LIVE AND GET THEM ON CAMERA SAYING THEY WANT YOU TO PUT THE PHONE DOWN OR TRYING TO MAKE UP POLICIES THEN REPORT THEM TO YOUR LOCAL FBI

  9. What a dumpster fire. How can you be qualified to do traffic stops if you do not know the basics of state laws concerning that particular situation, such as lawful detainment and reasonable suspicion. If it was a cadet who performed the questioning and there was an FTO present who corrected him, then it'd be totally fine, he could then apologize and send them on their way, but seeing as those officers have all passed that stage, it completely boggles my mind that they all either didn't know the state laws, or worse, they tried to enforce what they thought should be the law.

  10. After watching so many of these police encounters I believe The number one issue is that most of these officers have no idea that they just can't force people to identify themselves. Almost all of them believe they have a Lawful right to force you to give them your ID card Which all of us know is incorrect. Either they know what they're doing is wrong or their simply ignorant to the law. I don't know which one is worse.

  11. Cops got a C because they didn't tell or beat the guy up?! Rethink your grading structure. These cops continually lied and demanded so being "nice" does nothing in my book!
