  1. I hope that the last album was a 🖕🏻 to roadrunner as the last album we shall see but I’m feeling like this is their new style which I just can’t get into but to each their own maybe this is the era that helps someone new and that’s ok because I got my help and my therapy from slipknot that I needed don’t get me wrong I hope there is more to come on the harder side but if now then it’s fine and I’ll just listen to the old stuff

  2. I think the reason alot of ppl are not vibing with the latest release or with their softer experimental side is becuz they come to slipknot FOR the aggression. Ppl prob already listen to other genres in their playlists but when they want that fast hard hitting type of metal they come to slipknot and they want more music from them like that. It's like going to ur favorite pizza place and they're serving panini's and fritattas. Maybe some pepperoni on it somewhere.

  3. Yes you can pit albums against each other when you backdoor Chris and Joey and the last few albums sound like a Stonesour x Slipknot mashup. Shawn is a massive narcissist.

  4. Regarding their latest album…criticism is not the same thing as hate. They need to learn to accept criticism. And before anyone jumps on my comment, NO I'm not trying to say that the album should've been the 'next Iowa' or some crap like that

  5. Been a knot fan since the beginning but the new album seems a little off for those guys so if this so-called new album better be what the hype is heard rumors of this album for awhile and yes album 1 and iwoa are there heaviest looking forward to the new one.

  6. If they do release look outside your window, what if some songs have already been recorded and they decide to keep them that way? It was made when all hope is gone was being made so that means that Paul and Joey could possibly be on it( yes I know the album was only made by a few members but you never know right?)

  7. I've been a maggot since Iowa (so I was 15, I'm now 36). Then I obviously listened to the self titled album, and have loved every album they've released since, including The End So Far. I don't quite understand why people hate it..there's a couple of songs on there that sound like "old Slipknot" because apparently people don't want bands to change, ever. But I also hear them trying different things and growing as a band.
Of course people will always favour certain albums and songs, but it annoys me that some of us will consistently rubbish an artists work just because it's not up to their standard.

  8. Man I had there debut record on tape I've clicked with them ever since been through Paul dying Joey getting fired or whatever but I saw them on volume 3 tour I won't lie it was great but I always wanted to see them on Iowa tour
