1. If you're watching this video on or after Thursday the "Just Stop Oil" story might seem broken. The Guardian hit us with a BS copyright claim and blocked the video in all countries. Rather then get into a huge dispute we trimmed the clips out so people could see the rest of the show asap.

4. It'd be one thing if the issue with the lady feeding the homeless in park was that you need to be licensed to serve food, you need certain sanitation standards, etc. But the law is actually that you can't feed the homeless?! WTF! She's doing something good, so leave her be!

5. I care about the planet more than paintings and car stores that's my thought on that.

6. People should not even be accused of enabling homelessness because they're feeding the homeless. When someone is feeding the homeless the local government should be in trouble for allowing homelessness to happen in the first place. It's literally what we pay them to do is to make sure that people have a basic standard of living. That basic standard includes a place to live, food in your belly and clothes on your back and fresh f__king water to drink. We pay our government exorbitant amounts every year to give us that standard of living, and they consistently fail across the board. They should be the ones in trouble!!!

7. I'm guessing stores in the area paid the local government to make that ordinance, because in no way shape or form would making the food pre-packaged stop littering. That's the dumbest thing I've heard this month.

10. As a currently obese person, being fat isn’t something to glorify…am I a human deserving of respect? Yes.

    Also it’s hard to excersize, doing my shoes up is an effort I am puffed after 100m run and getting around isn’t easy.

    Let’s treat fat people with respect but let’s also acknowledge it’s not something we should strive for and that being ultra fat isn’t ideal.

    Also why does fat positivity seem to be largely female? Treat fat men with respect too.

11. DePerno looks like that kid that got bullied his entire life and is now high off of the illusion of power and is just trying to gain as many votes as possible to win a popularity contest amongst bigots and stay friends with the people who would otherwise be the ones bullying him.

12. That lady is great. She says she's not making a big impact and maybe that's true from a global standpoint, but ask any of the homeless people that were starving and cold before she filled their stomachs and I'm confident that they'd say she made a huge impact. If I lived there, I'd give her a hand. I hope the lazy slobs making a mess with the help she provided see the damage they're doing and stop so that she can continue to provide help to those less fortunate people that she's been helping

18. 1. "Fatphobic", "Fat Acceptance", "Health at every size" etc. are bullcrap. I've been underweight, and I've been clinically obese, and I've been "normal" and now I'm obese again, lots of eating disorders – from anorexia to binge eating. The healthiest I was when I managed, to for a short while (about 4 years) love myself for who I was, and take care of me and my body, and I managed to lose and then maintain a healthy weight. Everyone has their demons and shaming someone sharing their body dysmorphia and weight issues, whether they are "real" or not, is asinine. I don't see the Taylor Swift stuff fatphobic to the least.

    3. The Just Stop Oil protests make my blood boil. I do believe in climate change, I do think there should be a lot more done to at least try to combat it, but I HATE THOSE STUNTS SO MUCH that I feel like if I had billions to spare I'd just burn oil all around the world for no reason just to spite them. Yes, I'm petty. But what they are doing IS STUPID. IDIOTIC.

19. Not every plus sized person thinks Taylor and Anti hero is fat phobic 🙄 just certain bubbles of them on social media. And to compare it to racism? You need to sit back down and think about what you just said. People are born with their skin colour. I was born into a family where I’m 3rd generation white immigrant. This is the first generation where everyone has a home, regular money and decent food. My ancestors were literally discriminated against- in the 80s there were signs of ‘no dogs, blacks or Irish.’ Yet, I don’t get to say I understand black oppression because I’m white, and now get judged based on that. Where as there’s still people out there who’ll attack a black person for just being black. If you didn’t grow up in the 90s and plus sized you have no idea what fat phobia is.

21. I unfortunately just came across this video today. However I was as a kid a very overweight kid and led to drug usage in my teens and twenties. But I have been sober for over a year now and although that's awesome and I'm very proud of what I've accomplished this however has led to weight gain. Now after seeing this and two stories you talk about hit me. One fat phobic of course and homeless. Cause I was both I think people should respect people's pasts and opinions but also they shouldn't rush to conclusions of people. I've had family tell me I was better off dead so coming from that and seeing the pain your eyes showed with your response on fatphobic, I just wish people would take better care with what they say. Cause it can cause a lot more than them proving a point. I show no hostility to those with different opinions I just want people to stop and think before they talk. Hope everyone has an amazing day. 😇

    That's what it is supposed to do. Art meant to communicate a feeling. Like how an ED makes you feel, kind of like being fat is the worst thing.
    Being "triggered" by art is often what makes it good or effective. I want more artists like this, not less.
    TBH Those mad are just in denial about themselves. A bully can be any size.

31. That grandma is not the FIRST to be arrested for feeding the homeless… this is a growing issue because cities all over the US have declared war on homeless people. Texas is the worst! Cities in Texas have banned pan handling, feeding homeless, eating in public…in fact it is illegal to be homeless in Texas and you can be arrested for it. Stand or sit in one place too long and cops will take you to jail! Shelters are not an answer when they are filled with lice, thieves, and bed bugs…also they won’t accept pets of any kind and may not have enough beds for families to stay together. These cities need to spend less time concentrating on how they can make places uncomfortable for the homeless-blasting annoying music and making only hard single seats available in parks-and start concentrating on how to actually get people back into homes! They’re spending money on all this stuff to make them miserable when they should just be building housing and a program to get them on their feet again.
