For the pool pumps..maybe Home Depot has a resin shed that covers that ground space..im thinking a small cheap prefab resin structure, barn/shed type..resin being impervious to the elements , sturdy, you just need a quality shell structure to cover that stuff, and resin is cheaper and lasting.
   2. Research how DisneyWorld handles the mosquito issue. They dont have any.
   You might …maybe might..wanna rent out your in law guest house, to a competent handyman to help with all that work….someone who will work to clean up, sort out the interior, and get to the landscaping, for that efficiency size studio

2. DE Filters suck for pool maintenance. Get ride of them and install 2 x big new sand filters.

3. make sure your phosphate levels are under control as well. black algae thrives off of high phosphate levels…leafs and animals can raise levels..

4. Get cartridge filters, get rid of the bushes and trees around the pool. That will stop some of the constant debris

5. That is a plumeria plant that's underneath your slide

11. I’ve been a home owner for almost 40 years, and my wife and I currently own a modest 2000 sqft home on a third of an acre. Any home will need maintenance, but we learned early in life to downsize to something that we can safely look after ourselves or you will find yourselves quickly becoming slave’s to your property.

12. How about you don't do ANYTHING but first do the maintenance that the house needs. So it doesn't deteriorate. Such a huge house.. fuck

13. Everytime you turn on the water to fill the pool up for 2 hours, all the chemicals put into the pool get diluted and reverses all the shock and chemicals. Turn it into a All Natural Swimming pool, its supposed to be the cheapest for pools this big.

14. Moth balls around the spa will keep creatures away.

15. Salt pools is a Bullshit Placebo Sales Pitch! You still need to put ChLorine whenever it rains to "activate" the salt you have to add whenever it rains also to turn into ChLorine🤦‍♂️. Whenever water is added which is normal for evaporating 1 inch of water in a month for a unused pool, if you use it expect it to be lower from water splashing out. So its a bullshit system that cost more to run, and if the pool guy or home owner maintaining the pool 2x times a week for this big of a pool will need to be an expert at cleaning the copper rods with muriatic acid whenever the cells get too much calcium build up, they can get destroyed during the cleaning process if not done right, its only about $1000 for a new cell. Good Luck, would have cost you less to not have that fake Salt system monthly 😉 sorry for the 25yrs of knowledge I just dropped on you. If you have any questions feel free to call me 9544019043

16. Get , three other pool companies. And see what they say. And say nothing what the others said. And then analyze what they all said and price. Because I think your getting screwed. Also, screen in your pool. Find a inexpensive contractor.

17. Pools are awesome….when they're at someone elses place and you don't have to worry about it after lol.

    Outside LV our pool guy charged $100/week. He would come clean it, top it up and do a quick clean up around the yard! It was great.

    Also would it be beneficial to get a pool cover so that when massive storms or hurricanes don't dump everything into the pool every time

19. Definitely some in pool lighting and someights around the pool within the bushes and shrubs, plants etc. Oh and obviously up and around the pillars of the outdoor kitchen aswell. Itd look amazinh

23. As far as the rodents go you need to get a large bucket of Jaguar Bait Chunx. It is professional grade stuff. Can use in rat bait stations all around your property. If left accessible then raccoons, opossums and skunks will eat too. Rats can quickly do thousands of dollars damage so regulary check the bait stations as they get empty fast.

24. Also… there should be a valve to let air out of the line. If not built into that sight glass.
