31. Chrissy I've been in your exact situation, dating an older guy thats codependent/emotionally stuck in their teens, I had to learn it the hard way. We couldn't even be friends after we broke up cause he had zero boundaries and kept texting/trying to get back together. I'm sorry you're stuck in this situation, if I were you I'd say fuck the money and go live with your mom and brother (or find a short term lease for an apartment), maybe this is even a life milestone where you find a new job with a higher position and better pay. Onwards and upwards. I was 22 when my ex and I broke up and 25 now, and trust me your life will change for the better and you will feel so relieved and free without him dragging you down. 34. There's clearly more going on than what she said.

    She mentioned when they started hooking up that he said she would get "perks" and that "he would look after her", which she seemed to give the impression that it didn't happen.. however, all of a sudden she gets this big promotion at "corporate" and leaps over him. It seems that these "perks" could have been better treatment and favouritism in the workplace, which let's be honest.. if you're boning each other you're going to give each other this and if you're a boss you can do more than the employee can.

    Now she finds reasons why it doesn't work because perhaps she has got all she needed and he has nothing to provide her anymore. The "perks" are gone.

    She also mentioned money. As in he owes her for some holiday stuff.. she was willing to lead him on and continue lying to him to get her money back..FOR 6 MONTHS! this displays malicious and manipulative traits in her character.
