  1. Horrible news, the band is over, worse than the Stones carrying on without Charlie Watts; I'd rather have Bret Michaels replacing Vince (probably a good idea)

  2. Mick has always been one of my favorite guitarists. I've loved how he blends blues with Hard rock. He's so vastly and undeservedly underrated. Enjoy retirement Mick. While it will be sad not to see you on stage doing what you do best, your health has priority one!!

  3. I saw this story on my list of Google headlines and was compelled to click on it. I've never disliked Motley Crue and only heard what my older sister played whenever she popped on her Shout at the Devil LP back in the day. However, I did enjoy what I heard and reading all of these positive posts and praise, I must add that t's refreshing to see music fans – and folks in general- not ripping on each other. I love when music manages to pull this off.

  4. He was certainly one of the great riff-meisters. Would MC have succeeded without him? Maybe, it's debatable. Playing electric guitar with a bad back would be rough, those things weigh a lot, big chunk of solid wood.

  5. Sooo glad we made the trip from England to see the stadium tour in San Francisco and was privileged to see Mick one last time, Love you Mick.

  6. This is something that should have happened by 1990 last 30 years the band been using cd backing music and cheapening the fans of a decent show motley Crue was nothing but a over hyped whiskey a go go house band for so many decades
