33. Frustrated with Telegram. If you are living in southeast Asia you are often added into 'finance' groups by unknown person, sometimes daily. These are of course scam groups that prey on the vulnerable. And Telegram does nothing about them. It has these really good features such as channels which my country's government agencies use very effectively. But the scammers really have me considering leaving.

Telegram is a step away from Meta products, but if you truly want privacy, then do not use any social media, products like Signal has a great future with their privacy but lacking a lot of social media features users are so used to, but to host something more complex would cost a small fortune to run, and if they do grow as big as Meta, again we are back to square one, who is going to police it.

39. I'm definitely not using telegram because of the lack of encryption. But here in Germany we have the same problem…most people use this app and believe it's encrypted.
