  1. What engine is in his 80? Is it the stock inline V6? Everyone says the 80 is under powered but if that engine can make it through these trails, THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS.

  2. Not sure if it’s the same on a land cruiser but my 90’s suburban had a brace on both sides of the trans to the frame. It was only put on the 4wd models due to the potential for more stress and torsion. Given your land cruiser was converted from 2wd to 4wd, i wonder if you’re missing something like that? Someone with a factory 4wd model could advise

  3. This series has really put this team to the test! You could tell Deal was a bit stressed by the end, and who wouldn’t be after destroying
Uncle Dimas truck in Utah, then that massive transmission crack, and then the truck overheating on the trail… just one thing after another. Cars are pain. Curious to see what happens when you get back to LA and if you tear that rear diff apart and figure out why the locker doesn’t work so well.

  4. Best donut content in a long time. The hosts flow well together and it doesn’t feel fake and forced like the recent trajectory of the channel.

  5. The mistake these guys made was doing all suspension and armor. It needs proper baselining which is replacing every hose, entire cooling system, and a lot of other engine related replacements. Once those are rock solid go ahead and do suspension/drive train.
