Read Time:36 Second

Early March of 2026 became a defining moment in world history. For the first time AI was used in a major military operation, but that’s just the beginning of the story. What followed was a betrayal by OpenAI, a slippery slope to mass surveillance and serious questions over what powers a government should have. In this episode we explore the nexus between AI, war and mass surveillance.

  1. The ugly reality lies somewhere in the middle, what we don't use can be used against us and what we do use can be used against us so the real question is how do we safeguard ourselves from it's use

  2. guys if you try to delete your data from the brokers: be careful with spokeo, do NOT BUY something to see your data. they will put you on a subscription which is very hard to cancel. be carefull!! 13:30

  3. C'mon, when we'll start talk seriously about AI? They promised something that would take my job, but right now can't make a simple financial reconciliation or read e-mail attachments.

  4. I think he and everyone on the planet knows at this point, and we'll before this point, that he and open ai is scummy as fuck. This surprises nobody.

  5. well this explains why every government on earth seems to be pushing for online age verification to help this mass surveillance algorithm identify everyone.

  6. If meta glasses can provide their wearer access to Facebook/Instagram profiles of people they see on the street, I imagine 3rd party software could, eventually, provide access to non-site-specific profiles of those people, aggregated from various online activity. You could see a person's social media profiles, email, personal details, browsing history, videos/images they've appeared in (including surveillance feeds), possibly even credit card info (if retailers they use were ever hacked), simply by looking at their face

  7. Should the us not use ai while many world powers are silently growing in their power by growing with AI? It's pretty fucking naive to think they shouldn't.

  8. This is very important work, and I really appreciate the content, but I wish these videos didn't have background music. It's very distracting

  9. let's hope these warmongerers are stupid enough to disable enough safeguard on the AI and the AI deems them as the danger and take them out

  10. Not sure what this video is trying to say. Like, imprisoning a dictator that submerges his people in famin, poverty and state run violence is not a good use for AI? Amazingly stupid

  11. We don't live in a utopia. It's wild that you wouldn't allow the use of your brilliant, cutting-edge technology in the defense of that nation you live in. China and Russia are not having similar debates.
