1. Travel high can exist anywhere. People are moving out of Tampa/ FL in general & I don't blame em. Horrid old or just plain stupid drivers, swampy weather or storming on and off all day for several months, awful mosquitos early morning and after sundown, gettin more and more unaffordable for working/ middle class. Urban sprawl absolutely everywhere in hillsborough county & it's in the top 10 largest counties by land area in the state (& almost forgot to mention- public transportation is just about non-existent. More people= more traffic nightmares). Places up north must be boring and depressing af for people to think tampa area is heavenly… it's got variety and stuff to check out sure, but too much. Doesn't outweigh the cons, getting worse… Real wild unique nature in FL still exists but for how long. C0rrupt af governor/ is pretty fascist, sprawl and traffic all over central & south FL and really encroaching into North FL, no real water enforcement to protect against tragedy of the commons (water/ wetlands/ springs being our best resource, unfortunately hugely overlooked by most people, or they take it for granted or something). Do I even need to bring up red tide or other harmful algal blooms all along beaches (both coasts) way longer and more often now than ever. It's sad/ getting to be nearly too much
