Dont know about car parts but for everyday repairs, woodwork, and all sorts of other shit around the home, these 3D printers are stupid usefull.
Needed some clips and instead of buying em, i just printed some off the machine.
Also needed a trash can, printed one out aswell.
basically anything that you would buy irl that would normally be made out of plastic, can just be printed
ridge wallet is disabled by fire aswell.
I got a 3d printer and I use PLA+ for engine Bay stuff in my Corrado.
The Corrado doesn't have a good aftermarket shift linkage. So we designed one in pla+ because the plastic acts as a bushing and is easy to replace
wow, stole the hoonigan theme.
I want to see more 3d printed parts especially on low car
My favourite 3d printer is bambu x1 c (multi colour) , it's multiple times faster than 95 % printer out there ,and it's look like a apple product (cool looking, lidar systems ,very good app support ,half of the time needed to print ,camera systems, wifi etc etc)
The Ultimaker s3 isnt worth 7k
In the thumbnail the reason why the $300,000 one printed worse was because it was printed horizontally so the width of the nozzle was basically the finest point the printer could draw in but the $300 one was printed vertically so the layers were squished and was able to print the details better.
thats a ender 3 v2 neo
I don't see why one 3D Printer is "worth" 7k and the other just 300. Both do the same pretty much. There is no logical explanation what would be worth 7k lol. Just marketing and rip off.
75 Bucks for a fucking keyholder xD get out of here
Wow guys… Your audio levels are way off on this video.
Dialogue is about 5x quieter than the background music and sound effects.
Good content in the video though!
That's an Ender 3 S1, which is leaps better than the Ender 3, and costs around $400-$500.
The ridge wallet part be like a turboflex ad
Lol if you fail on ender 3 s1 is patetic this is no buget printer buget is 150€ not 350$ ender 3 s1 is good printer for price
Why not wire the fan to the ignition and have no worries ??
You guys kinda make fun like this is nerd stuff but imagine being able to make (almost) any 3d object you can possibly think of… it's freaking magical. Highly recommend you guys actually take it seriously. It's a blast.
16x14x16 thanks
Weird, my original ender 3D pro definitely heats up faster than a degree/s. Also the ultimaker comes premade. I’d much rather deal with the pain of my ender than spend $6800 more. Once you get the ender dialed in all you have to do is throw in your 3D model and it’ll print fine. Also SLS (used a lot with metal printing/sintering) SLA (used with resin and UV light curing) are different. I’m sure the guy that came in knows this but I feel like it’s important to distinguish the difference…
There's so much bad information regarding 3D printing in this video ..
This guy is handling a massive box of microplastics without any respirator for way too long..
Bruh fix ur slicer settings.
How easy is the software to learn on teh different machines I wonder haha
Not sure if grossly overpriced or my brains too small to comprehend it.
Great now 3d print with human flesh
Shut up and print the rock-topus
Edit title √√ankers
this was hard to watch guys…. i love y'all but damn this is nearly as bad as the Subaru content
I like how with the expensive one he was like "This looks like shit, and we hear that a lot… but imagine you wanted 1,000!" If I was wanting 1,000 identical parts, I sure as hell don't want them to look like THAT. Also the blue MSLA prints at the end had visible layer lines. The Mars 2 Pro I used years ago printed better looking parts. Was this a "quick, just hit GO" type demo with the lowest settings they could find?
Can you guys do a Tool Party episode on jacks, ramps, & lifts? Am I gonna die if I buy a QuickJack or a scissor lift? Put the Cabrio on a set of QuickJacks and see how hard Jimmy has to bump into it before it falls.
enable monotonic order and monotonic ironing in slicer settings it will improve top layer immensely
I think there is a mistake in the thumbnail, the 300$ is the yellow one ( the yellow one is FDM technology like their Ender 3 and the other one looks like SLS or SLA)
The central bank has a $31 trillion printer.
You can get that $300 printer to the same speed as the $185000 if you get a $20 .6mm nozzle and use .5mm layer height. That's what the expensive one looks like it's using.
Love u guys but ur knowledge on this subject is off lol
The 300 dollar one is ender 3 s1 not ender 3
Amazing video! Please do more of these!
you have no clue about 3d printers guys
13:55 holy hell those people are uncovering their plastic powder to the open air and playing with it.
Does the MSDS say the powder is "nontoxic" before it is printed? When it's breathed in?
NO? Yeah, sure, and coal dust is nontoxic in acute amounts too.
What polymer is this?
Are the binders "nontoxic" too?
Unprofessional at best.
Oh it's PEEK and so not acutely dangerous?
Well as long as you aren't playing with Nylon powder…
You WHAT?
This type of content is why I unfollowed. Thanks to YT for serving this uneducated BS up as a reminder.
there is a company that 3d printed a rocket ship, its pretty cool
It's Bob from Muck
I just got an AnkerMake printer an I would highly suggest it. It costs a little more at $800 but it is worth every penny. Best printer I have purchased and goes extremely fast and accurate.
Kinda disappointed with how the ender 3 s1 was presented but great video otherwise! (Most of the "issues" with the e3-s1 could have been fixed with decent slicer settings (software used to slice a model into horizontal layers for 3d printing) from that quick glance they gave, it looked like it was printing way slower than what it was capable of, the s1 version can easily print the materials they mentioned, and the cross hatching can be fixed with decent slicer settings)
The thumbnail is extremely misleading, layer orientation and tuning are the most important things when it comes to finished print quality
