2. I like his music. Don't really know much about him or his history. Don't really care. It's about the music and he's got some great songs.

3. I personally think his foray into Rock is due (in part) to his stint as Tommy Lee in that Motley Crue Bio-pic. Of course, I don't know if the timeline matches (I don't buy his music) it could be vice-versa. He's a mediocre rocker at best and a carpetbagger at worst.

4. He has no talent and picks on people that do because he’s insecure and jealous of them. He sure as hell isn’t a rock artist and the people that voted for him don’t listen to anything close to the genre. Him and his fans are just alike

5. I never heard his music andnever even heard about him when there was an ad online for his oncert in Prague. Just from how he looked in it I immediatelly hated him. Now after I know more about him, it didn't changed.

13. His music definitely is not the best but he brought pop punk back to a world where it really didn’t exist for a while or to kids who never knew what it was. I like some of MGK but also not a fan of other songs. I just love the stance of pop punk thanks to MGK and can’t wait to see where it goes!

20. Everyone on here is old. Our opinion doesn't even matter anymore in pop culture. Us not liking MGK probably makes him more popular than if we did like him. Imagine if your grandparents really liked the bands you listened to when you were in highschool…that would have made those bands much less cool.

21. I'd say he also tries to pull the rank from rap by collaborating and use it in the rock world and that doesn't align with the culture either. Not to mention his lyrics need to be stronger.

23. Rock fans usually appreciate Em. Many rock fans (from what I've seen) hated on MGK because of the Em beef, the Corey thing just stepped it up. Hate on his music all you want, I do think he's talented, and I just wish that he would let that speak for itself instead of the antics.

    And I do believe Em ran him out of the rap game, he was on a trajectory to be number 1 with that Hotel Diablo album, so while number 5 is still success, it's not the success it should have been.
