2. Interesting video, I had no idea it all began on an old computer game ! If you pause the video at 5:36 you can see an inverted cross on the arm of the statue of Liberty – if you pause the video at 24:23 you can see the black woman confirming her affiliation with the Illuminatis .

3. I can't get over that the 4th spin-off game was North Dakota. Of all the geographical areas to choose from they chose North Dakota. The only place worse would be if it was Wyoming.

4. my first ever experience with the franchise was the USA & Time games that came out after the PBS shows. I was NOT good at them since I was like 8, but man they were fun & hearing those theme songs again via the PBS recaps, especially the Time theme, really threw me back. Need to get back to the Netflix show at some point.

7. I wasn't born yet when this show aired but I grew up with some of the PC Carmen Sandiego games and loved them. I knew Thigpen from the PC game where she appears, so seeing that she was the Chief in a whole other production was so cool…and how elaborate and fun this seems to have been. What a good feeling it must have been to grow up with it.

9. 90s and early 2000s game shows are so similar- I’m 23 and I saw so many similarities with that with games shows in the early 2000s from the UK.
   It’s such a shame they didn’t release older episodes as it would be such a archive to see how the world has changed so much over 30 years. Like seeing Joe Biden on there and now knowing he’s president of the USA is so funny to reflect on. Crazy how time flies…
   But really what shows like these do remind you when you’re older (well I’m 23 now so to me I’m old haha)- that shows like these remind you that the magic of childhood stays with you permanently throughout your adult life. For me it was reading Tintin comics that I would buy with my pocket money I got from my grandparents when I was on holiday in France- others it’s a kids investigation TV game show. It still has the same effect- the magic of childhood!

10. Rockapella is my earliest,strongest, and most visceral memory of cringe. Loved the show, but had to change the channel away from them every song.

19. I still want to buy Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, the complete series on DVD. I don't care that the geography facts were all wrong.
    Also, they should make a music CD box set of all the Rockapella work.

21. I love the Netflix show because it completely changes what the show was originally, is funny, is absolutely beautifully animated, and something my entire family enjoys. Crazy how an MS-DOS game is like that

29. I find it problematic when I thought this show was made in the 80s and I know it's not just me who believe it true. Besides that, I would of loved going on the game show but thought I was too young and too dumb

30. god I miss this era of television, I miss sitting in front of my tv after-school, now there's nothin good to watch, but copy pasters, or there are way too many options that are either just bad, good, but require dedication. I just want a show that I'm passionate about, I miss the excitement that came with having to wait for the next tv episode each week.

35. I remember both shows as I would watch them after school I learned geography and world history which I thought was cool and often tried to answer and play along to see if I could capture Carmen San Diego
