  1. Could be as beautiful as Mr. Petrucci’s solo in breaking all illusions. Same guitar brand too. He sounds more classic in contrast to yours, or you made him sound classic.

  2. All the buildup for that beautiful high note in the end. Such a beautiful sound I just can’t get enough. Could even have ended it with that bended note you made at the start it was just screaming so good. Killed it.

  3. Yooo, never knew this. Now that I do, I appreciate that song even more now. I think it is impressive when a solo matches the mood of the song. The way it subtly starts, hits hard, then fades out beautifully. Fireworks my dude. 🎆

  4. People notice your abilities to play these insane solo's, but I think your true gift is in composition. Watching many of your collaborations and guest appearances I'm constantly surprised at just how varied and dynamic your solos are.
You've got a lot of fans that realize your unique contributions and all I can say is keep following your gut, because your stuff just keeps getting more impressive and less derivative from the lazy shredders that just adapt basic scales to a chord progression.

  5. One of the things I enjoy about Jason's playing is his vibrato is very unique, and when I hear bits like this :52 it's like I'm hearing JR's singature stamp on whatever he is paying on.

  6. Hey Jason Richardson, I doubt this, I literally doubt this, but did you go to Hesperia High School, hang out with me and Donnavin?

Because I grew up with a guy who had the same name as you. He got into allot of trouble, and he loved to skate.

But I got him into guitar when I was 15, and that was 15 years ago.

I heard that Jason Richardson was forming a band and they wanted me to join as their drummer.

I refused because I felt that I needed to dedicate my life to the studies of the craft and that I just wasn't ready.

Well. If its you… Me and Donavin miss you man.

We both haven't heard from you in years.

    Hope your doing well.

But like I said, its a long shot that your the same guy.
