Honestly im the reverse…lol..I fucking loved that old tyler and OF u know I was a metal head skater that liked rap/hip hop too, but i Honestly havnt listened to his new music after the first like 2 maybe 3 albums….it was like he did a 180 but I loved the edgy angry violent fuck everyone and everything feel, but i understand he was young and he grew up and u change as u grow…but assmilk and sandwiches are some of my favs..lol

7. I always knew he had it in him to suceed. He is the new Kanye but unlike Ye he is very grounded and balanced psychologically. He doesnt take himself seriously too much which is a good thing.

16. I loved OF so much. I grew up in LA and listened to Tyler and earl before they blew up. Once Tyler did cherry bomb and flower boy I was not into it. Same thing with Eminem, after relapse I'm not into it. They were cool cuz they just didn't give a f***. When they switch up it just seems like they are phony and the whole thing was a facade. Essentially now they are lame

17. I can see khaleds argument. Even though I have always preferred underground music over mainstream radio shit, awards and billboard charts are for the music that everyone is forced to listen to at the mall or retail stores

18. I've never liked his music, probably because I've been around since the near beginnings of the Hip Hop culture and he's always been wack to me. Even his best albums like IGOR are hard to listen to front to back. Hes got 45 million monthly listeners, so I know Im in the minority but Im just adding my cents here. In my circle of friends Tyler gets no play, comparing him to the true greats isnt fair. Of the recent albums dropped, Clipse, Slick Rick, Wu Tang, Raekwon, and Joyner are all better albums than "Glass" and "Chromakopia". I really struggle with this too, because I feel like I may be missing something? But nah…its ok for him to be an overhyped Character of a rapper. Hes basically an SNL skit making fun of himself all the time to me.
