Vermiculture is my key for compost.
My egg & seafood shells and bones go in my firepit to break them down.
Then it gets added to my worm tower (in my basement) which soaks up any smells.
I soak willow twigs in water for my rooting hormone.
Lol People think harvesting bat poop is bad for the environment?!?
That's not far from thinking humans are bad for the environment.
Don't get me wrong…We are bad for it in many ways, but harvesting poop and kelp pale in comparison.
I wonder if those same people use glyphosate on their crops.
Fritz harbor is responsible for the nitrogen in the environment today

Its nice hearing an organic grower not demonize salt growers. 9/10 organic growers do NOTHING but bash salt growers as if theyre spoon feeding their children rat poison.

I use sand for my wick in my SIPs. It wicks really really good and it can sit in water and not go anaerobic
Kinda trading cat ion with the peat for air with the coco. I started with 200 dump trucks of ground up trees.
