I’m attempting to conquer the three hardest trails in America in only a week! Part 3 is Fordyce Canyon the notoriously difficult, expert-level 4×4 off-road trail in California’s Tahoe National Forest.

Special shout out to my co-pilot Tim @milk.wagon for doing this whole adventure with me. And a huge shout out to Dmitriy @stellarbuilt and Ben @dissentoffroad for joining us!
None of this would be possible without all the people that helped this build come together – @RPMoffroadgarage, @HDRracewheel, @Dissentoffroad, @Dobinsonsusa, @airdowngearup, @bajadesigns, @warnindustries, @factor55, @blazeoffroad, @whiteknuckleoffroadproducts, @tomwoodsdriveshafts, @rcvperformance, @eastcoastgearsupply, @classiccruiserclubgarage, @solvefunction and many others that helped in many ways!

  1. Eaton E-lockers are the way to go from my perspective. If I was ever to put a front locker on my FJ cruiser it would be an Eaton. The air lockers just seem like too much can go wrong.

  2. You guys killed it this video! Only gripe is your whole morale went down soon as that locker failed, shit breaks on the trail brother! I once wheeled with a guy that broke his whole hub off and we strapped a tree to his axle and he ski’d the whole rest of the way lol

  3. if u are scared about damaging your rigs, then u shouldn't be out there at all. i scratch my bumper, rims, tail lights and many more through jungle rock. not once did i went outside to see that big dents.

  4. That guy who sold you the 80 had alot of problems he didn't disclose. I have a green 94 that I put through it and don't have near the problems. It even carried me to Fla. from S.C. and back to go bury my father when I broke my daily. I didn't think twice about it and was very thankful to have such a great truck to take care of me when I needed it the most, love the 80 series. Bought another one white with black int. I'm planning to do next, so this has been a good series to watch. BTW the only thing I constantly break are the damn tail lights, carry super glue.
