We drove a 100 year old electric car and compared it to the most luxurious EV of today.
Thanks to our friend @jaylenosgarage for sharing his car with us! And go check out his channel!

Electric care are not and never will be good there bombs that we strip mine and kill the earth to make
Funnily enough, there were electric taxis in New York and London in the 1890s, and they solved long charging times with battery swapping. Drivers just pulled into a swapping station, and mechanics swapped in a fully charged battery in minutes, giving them miles of driving on a new battery.
you left out the Electric Honda made c. 1990.

this is favorite donut video 2:27
Interesting topic completely spoiled by typically American bias. No mention about Nissan Leaf or even earlier hybrid technologies (Honda). Straight to Tesla and Lucid. America First? Yeah, right.
So envious of Jay driving that thing to lunch, that would be fun.
Yeah! Don’t be DEAD! Being DEAD is for LOSERS! 😉😄
I think that story of the guy dying trying to start his car sounds like hogwash to get people fearful of the crank starter and to go with the new tech.
How much ?
for sure it was the eletric starter and not the heavy lobby of the ford's and GM's right? i mean
Electric cars suck.
Oil was first discovered in Pennsylvania in 1859, not in Texas.
Shame they didnt mention the Nissan Leaf that actually jump started the EV car race we have today.
Jay is just the most lovable person of all time, he buys all his cars and drives them and cares for them and doesn't let them go to shit. He is a true legend.
That's a radium glass vase.☢️
This feels like an insult to automotive history

It is unfortunate that the video does not touch on how fossil fuel companies actively worked against electric vehicles and other forms of electric mobility.
I still think ev’s would be further along in tech had the car companies kept building the ev’s and kept doing the research on them
