11. Hey fellas, would you suggest a wicking set up vs doing a simple drip system? Seems like top layer moisture, plus not having to mess with a large reservoir, etc. seems like it may be more complex to use bottom feeding, a drip seems super simple. I’d be concerned about all that water sitting in my tent, leaks, bacteria/mold, etc.

20. I grew my largest plant in a 10 gallon pot on an AC Infinity XL base. Ran silica, calmag, recharge, stash blend, maxibloom, and koolbloom powder. Mac1, 15 oz dry

21. Mine are a chicken wire frame with a mesh bag inside. This sits in a dish pan. The soil is a custom mix with ocean forest base medium. I keep water in the pan and the plant takes what it wants. And i have the organics from the soil.

22. If youre going to use coco you might as well just do kratkey method and use synthetics.

23. It restricts nutrient uptake to some extent. The plant puts " feeder " roots just under the surface of the soil for a reason, to get the nutrients that are breaking down in the surface layer like in the forest.

24. I'm looking at the AC infinity self-watering pots. The smaller ones hold 1 gal – is that going to need to be filled every day for 5 gal plants? They have an XL version that has a bit over 2 gal capacity should I use those? Or spiderfarmer has a set with an actual resevoir – I'm just wondering how hard they are to clean out and what's more convienient? And when I add top dresses/amendments/terp teas/molasses/silica and water it in from the top is that going to overwater my pots or nah?

32. It's funny. This bottom feed idea totally destroys the argument for using the round lifting grills that lift the pot out of the water after you water the plant.

Gro buckets come in 3 piece kits turns any 5 gal bucket into sipp bucket an are amazing also maybe even better to others wants more than 4 5 gal mediums they also have yhe gro buddy which turns any thing more than 6 gal all way up tonlike 100gal there gro gro buddy can turn any size pot into an bottom feeder sipp but they only come in an 2 pk vs the gro bucket kits come in 3s but could use multiple grow buddys in one large bed an are also just wandering about adding 3 4 in air stones that have suction cups on them keeping held down an in place where wont effect sipps measure stick float thingy an also considering foing the drain hole therr sayijg 3 half in 3.5 im say 2.8 to 3 in would be better leaving least 0.5 half inch air gap room for bubble from air stones to pop an whatver reason want little space between where roots leave mediums an enter the bubbling sipp water an even woth 1in water way gro buckets kits are medium still get an sipp water like post to also considering scottys real buckets systems

    From listening so far he overcomplicates the wicking process.
    Clarify if he has no YouTube
    Was intrigued and would like to see the visuals of what he's doing which seems like adding more to an already simple process

40. Hello. My question is will the terpene profile or anything else change when growing a strain that originated from cold climate say a high of 72 degrees f and you grow it in 83 degrees? I’ve been growing in a warm climate of 83f and I’m thinking about growing these landraces in there naturally colder climates.

41. i've been using home made AC Inf type set up for over 10 yrs. I drape strips of an old grow bag over a plant riser in a large dish pan and it works great wicking up into the 7g fabric bags. The fabric strips work better than the strings.

44. Pigeons you can make your own Lost Coast . Grab some Dr Bronnners pure soap , soy bean oil and isopropyl alcohol. Super cheap and effective.

45. My AC infinity self watering pots filled with roots so much ithe roots actually pushed the pots off the tray. They looked like those odd upside down trees in Madagascar.
